Love the refs with road shoes
Love it! New in trail
Brillant, thank you!
My question is which shoe is suitable for rocky terrain as where I live the mountains we trek on are extraordinarily rocky and vertical
This was the best video for trail shoes, with a good explanation of road to trail conversion
Thanks Helen!! Whats your go to shoe at the moment? Josh
@@SportitudeAus the Asics Trabuco 11....but think about going Max for the distance.
Excellent review mate. Was needing this assessment…you’re a pioneer here.
@foxcharlie, thanks for watching and the kind words. Out of interest what is your go to shoe for trails at the moment? Regards, Josh
@@SportitudeAus sure Josh. I’m not yet a trail runner, I run on pavement, though have chosen my two Camino de Santiago shoes (which would also suit my tastes for when I take to trail running): the Hoka Speedgoat 5 and Asics Trabuco Max 2. The runner ups where the Topo Ultraventure 3, New Balance More v3 Trail and Altra Olympus 5.
@@fecardona Great mix of shoes. Seems cushioning is the preference for yourself? The NEW Trabuco Max which is coming back half of 2023 (soonish) is a seriously good trail shoe. I've not ran in Topo's for a couple of years now, but they seem to be gaining a lot attention. I personally have a soft spot for Altra Olympus... Was my go to mileage trail shoe for a few seasons. I love the foot shape in Altra trail shoes. So easy to run and I really prefer to relax my forefoot for mileage trail running. All the best with your training! Keep up the great work! Josh
