Though for someone whose had zero practice in competitive eating wouldn't be able to keep down that amount of food if eaten all in one sitting and likely make themselves quite sick.

To be fair, is not like he just eats one plate and that´s it. He is kind of putting his body at risk for this and is not comfortable eating this fast. He is not actually enjoying the food most of the time. And you never know what kind of health problems this can create long term. Matt is a great guy, and he deserves everything he has, but this is definitely a tough job for content creation physically.
