😂 Not sure if mentioned in the comments, but the first story, the team got fined £50 for playing Crossley. Clough took that £50 out of Crossley's wages the next week!! 😂😂😂
FA would’ve sacked him before he won anything. Was far too outspoken to be accepted by the FA, Robson as much a legend as he was was far less outspoken, not a total yes man but definitely not a disrupter.
Story from Saunders is mostly made up. Saunders signed for Forrest from Galatasary. Story with the contract is great which if true i suppose shows that he can trust you but more importantly that you trust him. that trust would be repaid. Scottish Midfielder of the 80's Murdo MacLeod tells a similar story about signing for Celtic (he later played for Borussia Dortmund) and basically being told by Manager Billy McNeil what he was getting paid per week and it was below what he thought he'd get and McNeil just said "No, that's what you're getting paid Son, sign the contract there's no negotiation"
The man who took man management to a whole new level ❤
Clough legend.
There will never be another one quiet like Brian clough again

No it was mentioned in the bloody video
@@egyptology22true. Either missed it the first time or the video has been changed. First more likely
Mark Crossley had to pay for Elizabeth's car out of his wages!

Should of been an England Manager. We might have won it again with him

Would've won the World Cup, the European Championship, the Eurovision Song Contest, the Boat Race and the Grand National an all. He was a genius.

Funny stuff. It's surely well known now, that Saunders made most of that up. Bit disappointing tbh.
Saunders is a lying prick. Very poor taste, even if it was true. Which it wasn't.
Yeah Deano was full of shit with most of that, you can tell when Deano talks shit, its when he opens his mouth
ah never let the truth get in the way of a good story 😂
