god damn I played this today (on Dark, so 2nd-highest difficulty) in my first playthrough and I just deal no damage to him, heavy hits doing like 10dmg to his hp and all of his spells nearly oneshot me o.O This guy seems to have much better equipment than me
@🐺WITCHER 2 ASSASIN OF KINGS🐺 I got it to work with aard. So basically I just dodge and roll the entire time till his quen wears off and then I use aard + heavy hit 3x and then repeat. And this works, but it still takes like 40-50 hits to get him below hp threshold and he does 40% of my hp per hit
@🐺WITCHER 2 ASSASIN OF KINGS🐺 if I try Yrden then I always get hit by a grenade cause the cast time is so long, same with quen most of the time. I got it to work with Aard + heavy hit combo, oils, potions, grenades :D

@@ExtremeGamingHD3D u shouldn't try to beat a shithead like 1 hour in normal mode. +map desing is bad its not feels in mood +its not their story, story from a book. I played witcher 1 way to good than 2. Combat system sucks in this game.
@@yasnithegreat6612 preferring TW1 over TW2? you gotta be an oldschool gamer. there are very few people who played TW1 and are still into gaming or around. I like TW1 very much, but I wouldn't say the combat system there is better than in TW2. the main reason nowadays gamers drop playing TW1 is its combat system. you may watch my TW2 game movie. I beat it on the highest difficulty and had no problems with the combat system. just need to get used to it
