  • 1st or 2nd use. There are greasers on the mantel bearings. Very loud machine. Lots of power. Locking diff is very nice on the hills.

    Deck is loud cause it has velocity! Want it to blow grass? Reason why there 48s and 54s dont need blowers for baggers! There excellent mowers! Also, there is a 42'' TS 242xd with Kawi 21.5hp.

    It is the high lift blades, if you want less sound, go to a mulching blade

    I use to have a jhon deere la120 it never really bagged grass even if I put on the high lift blades on. now I have a yth22v46 I love it shoots grass far and the bagging work very nice even in a little bit of wet grass gets the job done!

    Most powerful rider I've found yet, I love my husqvarna 26 hp Kohler, 48 inch deck slays some grass.period
    Yes it's loud at deck but that's what higher rpm's do..

    Only thing I don’t like about my TS354 is the cup holder, the thing is a beast. Have one area I have to lock the rear end, other than that, runs great, cuts great.

    Thanks for the video review. Just bought an Aussie version of this called RedMax equivalent of YT2142F am yet to move from suburbia to acreage but this was the best quality i could find. Hope it's ok.

    Changed over to copperhead mulching blades on mine. Made a lot of difference in noise and blade speed

    Definitely don’t agree with you on your review. I have almost 2 acres and this mower is awesome and the noise is as normal as any other riding mower of the same size. I’ve been extremely happy with my TS 348XD!

    I've had the frame break on this and the adjustment for the deck height has never worked. I took it back to the dealer and they said they couldn't fix it although its still under warranty. Its a Law Suit and I'd rather be mowing!

  • @booobtooober
    @booobtooober Před 3 lety +8

    I don't get it! Why do people want stripes in the lawn. Stripes mean the grass is bend down which to me means its not cut straight. I want my mower to pull the grass straight up and cut it to my desired height. Those blades have a good size flap/fin which will of course make some noise but they ought to give good up draft to pull the grass straight up and give an even cut. They also create a strong discharge draft to clear the clippings out and prevent clogging the deck with detritus which may also cause uneven or incomplete cutting.

    I just bought the same model last week and on my first cutting I thought it was a Hover craft! I found by research that they use "high lift" blades which are noisy. I'm going to change the blades if possible.I also agree with all your other observations.

    But how well does it mow? I love Briggs and Stratton, love Kohler, but thinking about a Kawaki engine. How does it ride and mow?

    I have a 300000 square feet and this mower is excellent especially with all the mods you can put on and honestly you must have sensitive ears or it’s me who has freaking blocked ears but it isn’t that loud

  • @googlreviews7813
    @googlreviews7813 Před 3 lety +4

    Good choice on the engine, I saw 3 used ones in classifieds, none of them all that old and all 3 with blown Briggs &Stratton engines. Briggs is Chinese junk now, it's a shame, they used to be well known and respected.

    • @AStanton1966
      @AStanton1966 Před 11 měsíci +1

      I believe that the Briggs are made in China and assembled in Old Mexico--what could possibly go wrong?

  • @googlreviews7813
    @googlreviews7813 Před 3 lety +5

    Dude! Don't ever rev up your engine before engaging blades, engage blades at low revs and then rev it up slowly to full, otherwise you'll burn through belts in no time.

      @THEWORX99  Před 3 lety +2

      You had good mowers and belts, but now days things aren't built as well, when you engage PTO in high revs that belt slips initially for second or two.

    Deck noise, due to three blades ?

  • @davidkirkham6497
    @davidkirkham6497 Před 3 lety +6

    I don’t think these Husqvarna’s are advertised as good stripers? If you want good stripes, you should have purchased a Simplicity lawn tractor! They come as advertised as the best stripes of any make! They have full with rollers on the rear of the deck! Husqvarna have no rollers, only anti- scalp wheels. That’s why it won’t stripe. Also, the noise your hearing from the deck is the high velocity of the blades, which is what you want. Nevertheless, i hope you have good luck with this ride-on mower

  • @techguy9023
    @techguy9023 Před 4 měsíci +1

    Stripes are irrelevant to me. I want it to cut and run for a long time without breaking down. I have two properties to mow. One is an acre and a half. Part of it steep. Good brakes are necessary
