Everytime I see Gaogaigar and it's variants in an SRW game I can't help but want Rand to be in it too. A Maximum break with those two as a tag team will be epic.
So, I understand why people are upset at GaoGaiGar's attack animations, but at least for some of them it looks like they went for accuracy over style. Like Hell and Heaven almost looks like it came right out of the show. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing...though I would have preferred they went for style. As for them lacking impact? I think it's only really an issue with Drill Knee. Broken Magnum/Phantom looks totally fine to me. Though I think an easy fix for Drill Knee would be to just have the enemy go flying farther after it hits. However, I think a good thing to understand is that animating these in HD with all the fancy shading work they do on the sprites is really difficult, especially since these games are annualized and as far as I understand the games don't have particularly large budgets either.. Honestly, I would totally be ok if the games came out every 2 or even 3 years if it meant we got higher production values.

I don’t care if the units do exactly the same in the show in all honesty, I’d rather stick with style and feeling like you’re actually destroying the enemy. These attacks are so lame... They're fun to look it, but have no variety). I personally had nothing wrong with GGG in this game tho. Yea sure the animations are not as dynamic as W was with GGGG, but the animations are smooth so I can least tolerate it.

The Dividing is made useless because it's just a device to create a ground fissure (in space) followed by a lazy beat down. And I understand that Mic Sounders needed to appear in some way, but if you hype me shouting " *GATLING DRIVER* !" I expect you drive that giant skrewdriver in the enemy's face, not that you use it to create a bullshit lense to power another guy's attack.
If we get do get Genesic one more time, I'd actually cease living if Nobuyuki fucking gave Goldon Crusher the fucking SSJ3 treatment in where he just SENDS that shit.
Oh wow. I think they've finally been able to match up to W's GGG animations and in some cases do it better (Gatling Driver, H + H and Goldion Hammer in particular).

Here everything's clunky, and the 3-hit combo (in W it's just a combo which name I forget, here it's base GaoGaiGar's Dividing Driver combo) is definitely worse than W's and has less impact. This is an HD Game. This has no business 'matching up' to W, it should be blowing W, and arguably BX, out of the water.

All these attacks look so cool, but somehow Goldion Hammer's bgm doesn't fit the scene at all... it's really lackluster for an epic moment. Sounds like I need to change the bgm to Yuusha-O when I use it. Also decided to use Final Fusion for Gatling Driver... it fits the animation so well.
After watching GGG recently, I can see why people are underwhelmed by this entry. The anime had so much more intensity and grit, looking back at the older iterations of GGG those were a lot more intense and impactful. I appreciate the attempt for more accuracy, but it lost some of the impact imo.

Goldion Hammer's Cut-ins looks pretty good. -Better than @3 a bit but- a bit worse to BX and stands no chance against W But kind of goes without saying. Hell and Heaven was as good as it need to. Could've been worse. Edit: Changed my mind, @3 are better for all attacks... Except Hell & Heaven. Especially Broken Phantom/Magnum. The flow is really weird here and the Impact is very lacking. The Broken Magnum itself doesn't even look like GaoGaiGar's Forearm. If anything it looks like a cotton candy. (also nitpick. But the Smoke just feels wrong. But i'm not sure why exactly it just feels like that.) If BX was too floaty. This is too clunky.

It's certainly possible, It's not like they don't have any fans over there. (Though admittedly low in numbers) Shouldn't stop random people from trying it though. Besides T is selling well in South East Asia if it keeps on getting better. It'll break the gate eventually. probably after harmony gold is dealt with though.
