I am African-American, and I have often wondered if it would be possible to live in a country in Africa. The major problem for me would be that the buildings are far from being accessible for a person who uses a wheelchair. There are no wheelchair ramps and the doorways, hallways, and bathrooms are too small.

@@Bigwillz Thank you for your reply, your statement is true, but it would be awesome for the millions of Nigerians living with disabilities to be considered when building homes, and other structures, because anyone can become disabled or elderly, and then their home would become a prison. Even if one was able to build a home there are other structural barriers to public buildings. I'm just looking for other living options outside of the US due, to the cost of living here as well as a way to escape racism here.
@@alisonsworldtv you have a very good point. It should be so everywhere. I think the developers should be considering people with disabilities when constructing their buildings. I think I will make this part of my questioning when talking with developers. Thanks for the eye opener.

Government backed Mortgages will lead to a financial bubble. In the U.S. it's called predatory lending, meaning giving loans to people whom will never be able to pay back the loan, nor the interest, it will eventually be seized by said "Government backed loan".

This is so nice 👍, I love the estate 🏡 mostly for the fact that all cables are underground and water 💦. They just need to improve on the vegetation and general environment cleanness. I also sight garbage 🗑 waste been put in strategic place of the estate.

Bigwillz yet another banger. however they need a lot more greenery, recreation areas like tennis, multiple swimming pools but most importantly although the houses are nice the inside finishing is just so so
They are building two swimming pools in the place and the trees will grow with time.
@@Bigwillz I know he said they will build it, but from experience in Nigerian property projects, if not there at the very beginning, it's highly likely it will never get built. With regards to greenery I don't just mean trees, but also green turf and flowers to soften all that high density building

the estate is cool no doubt, but most estates in naija always fail to include hospitals and mini shopping malls for easy access... when the man mentioned schools, children playing grounds, I was actually expecting him to at least mention a hospital or even a clinic with an emergency ambulance which is very crucial in a 1000 home estate. Bigwillz, tell them abeg, good job bro, pls keep the vlogs coming

The only thing the estate lacks is Trees for beautification .. for buildings with flat room and no tree shades, i cant imagine how hot it will be under direct summer sun .. but 4 bedroom for #35m sounds absolutely great though!

Good. Nigerian developers should try to include trees and lawns with flowers to the homes they build. Lawns and trees makes houses more attractive and homely. Also, natural light in the house is essential by using large windows. Check out South Africa real Estate and Kenya real estate. Too much concrete in the compound make the houses unwelcoming. Brains and Hammers is built for middle income earners while Paradise estate is not. Paradise estate 1 is very fine.

Hi big do they have 3 bedrooms and four bedrooms all ensuit so shared toilets!
The masters bedroom is ensuit while the others share a bathroom.
Very affordable but they need more trees or some sort of color contrast for the entire estate. It looks like a prison camp

I observed that most of these kind of development which is becoming popular in Abuja lack proper titles. What you get in most cases is an allocation letter which is actually not a title.

Often the person that buys the property installs their own stove and other things.
VAT is 7.5% of cost of property

@Bigwillz, I am loving your series on Brains and Hammer Estate videos. I have a few questions. They Developers said that they will always have 1 million liters of water backed up in 4 underground storage tanks located around the estate. Where exactly are they getting the water to store in the underground tanks? Do they have a rain/runoff rain capture system that goes into the tanks? The developer did say he has many different sources for water, does that mean he has water trucks delivering water around the clock to ensure the 1 million liters of water are always available? The Developer did say they will treat the water, how are they going to exactly do that because I am sure that to do it right it would be very expensive. Also, he said electricity will not be an issue as he has many sources the state electrical grid and power generators. I was wondering do they plan on setting up a solar power panel farm with the ability to store the power in some kind of power system so the power could be used when the sun is not available? Lastly sewage/wastewater. The Developer did not really touch on that. He did say it's all underground, but where does it go, and if it is treated where is the discharge point? I hope it's not just discharged untreated into a nearby river or stream. If it is treated I did not see any facilities/treatment plant from your drone shots. Great work Thanks :)

From what I've read Nigerian has the highest GDP in Africa, so I figure they would have the money and resources to make it happen. Please tell those guys that sand and cement as building materials is not suitable for our climate even we Africans got trapped into the stupid idea. Clay bricks 🧱 are millions times the best and are easily available everywhere while sand is gotten and shipped from specific sources. Sand for building is also endangered species 😂. Even developed countries predominantly build with clay bricks 🧱 as it deals better with the weather and temperatures. We Africans seems to always think and do things upside down. We think clay bricks are rural and primitive lol 😂.
