Yes. I can tell you it is because I was just using one. GSYNC 240hz Monitor, i7 12700k, Z690-F with 32GB DDR5, 2080TI *without xmp or any overclocking* was holding 100fps+ in Helldivers on Ultra settings with dips during heavy particle activity but no noticeable hiccups. 2080ti is still a beast of a card and performs even better when on a chipset that supports XMP DDR5
The dutch used pc market is weird (marktplaats), you can find deals like this pretty often, but seperate hardware is also pretty expensive. So buying a prebuilt is not much more expensive.
Getting a consistent 90 fps in Helldivers 2 is a miracle. I have a 4070 super and my game tanks to like 50fps when things get hectic, but runs every other game like a beast. Edit: I’m just going to put this here so people stop saying I’m hating on Nvidia. My game has poor FPS due to poor game optimization not because of my GPU. Idk why but the game doesn’t run super well on my set up even though I’ve had no other issues with other games. Edit 2: I’ve actually fixed the issue. The problem was CPU related. All I had to do was go into my BIOs settings and enable PBO on my CPU and I now get a consistent 80 fps even in the most hectic situations in HD2. I’ll leave this comment up in case anyone is having similar issues.

I have the same core components . Honestly could not be more satisfied. At first i was afraid of getting an amd gpu because of all this internet stigmas but probably the best decision i made. Upgraded from 1660 super to rx 7800xt and now i confidently playing 1440p with no problems what so ever.
I mean you can test that by turning up your settings in game and if the fps stays the same you have a bottleneck. Also pull up task manager and if the cpu is at 100% and gpu is barely sweating the you also probably have one. Keep in mind that the resolution your playing at matters and also the game (competitive games almost always will be bottlenecked by the cpu)

You do know that just cos a game gets less fps then another game doesnt make one more demanding then the other right??? Their is multiple reasons for lower fps compared to other games, it could depend what engine the game uses to run, can depend on how optimized the game is, some games need a faster cpu then others so some games coukd run great and then other games your cpu isnt good enough as the game requires your cpu more then the other game did, a game running worse then another game doesnt mean that game is more demanding then another game

Is there a way to protect your pc from that power surge? I currently have a extension cord that protects my pc from that, but other tech youtubers and you have said that some peoples pc have a lack of power and power off if they are on a extension cord. Any tips on equipment that protects from the power surge?

Its similar to a 3070 in terms of performance, so it should do great in 1080p max, even in demanding games.

Consider putting a few of the settings down to high instead of ultra. Or use the upscaler on Ultra High, just under native.

Seems fine to me. A more powerful cpu isn’t really a bottleneck, it just means you can upgrade to higher end gpu if you want to
