- Mindful habits and rituals which help me stop overthinking and calm down my overactive, anxious mind. These are three things which I adopted recently, which allow me to prevent negative thoughts and set better intention for the day.
I was implementing these habits when I lived in London, but now that I left England and moved to a countryside in Latvia these are the things which keep my mind calm. Now that I moved away from a place I called home, I'm not living my "normal" life anymore, my routine is not what I'm used to, so these three things help me create some sense of normality.

Very well said ❤❤
Aaa I just realized that there are like three parks near where I live but I completely ignored them! 😭🙏 This video was exactly what I needed right now to stop complaining that I still live in the city. Thanks for your inspiring work, glad that I found your channel. 💛

What helps you to slow down your mind?
Hi Daria. I came across your channel by searching Haruki Murakami’s books. I am a big fan of his writings too. 🙂 What helps me slow down my mind? Personally I found meditation helps me a lot in my daily life. I have started meditating since 2012 and realised it’s many benefits. Great channel you got here, Daria. Keep it up.
Nature and weed great combo
Wonderful, thought-provoking ideas. I, too, am a writer. I began to write a letter to a dear friend (myself), as you suggested. I don't often treat myself as a friend. It brought tears to my eyes.
I love nature too, especially woodlands. I have neglected this. I saved your video to keep reminding myself to do the things you suggested.
I once wrote, "Sometimes just making coffee is an act of sanity." You made me remember this.
I am really appreciating your videos--a very recent discovery. Thank you for these gifts.❤
