    What drives me crazy about ANYONE doing ANYTHING in the kitchen, or around food, is thinking it's okay to show off your long, pretty locks, by wearing it down and dangling in front of your shoulders and hanging all over your counter, table, or stove... WEAR IT UP AND BACK out of the way, and if possible, slip on that nearly invisible HAIR NET!!
    It's very UN-hygienic to NOT wear a hair net or NOT keeping it secured with hair ties and/or with barretts, for several reasons:
    1) The kitchen should be the LAST place to show off your beautiful, long (or short) locks... No matter how still you stand in the kitchen, hair can "leave the head," and drift around, via air currents, and guess where it winds up;
    2) No one wants to see hair laying on or in their food... Hair turns from beautiful to gross once it leaves your scalp... People automatically think the hair came from the nether-regions (eeewww);
    3) The LAST thing anyone wants, after they begin to eat, is to discover a strand of hair in their mouth... So, they'll fish around in their mouth with their fingers (gross), grab onto it, and when they begin pulling it out of their mouth, discover they've already swallowed, no telling how much of it (gag reflex time)...
    Now, looking at the length of yours, I'm sure who ever has latched onto one that's your length, will feel every inch of the rest in their throat -- sliding back out (GAG!!);
    4) No telling what's in your hair and/or, on your scalp (sprayed on or crawled in?), but it's now drifting on the air currents and/or, on your fingers, then lands onto the food, after you've had to touch, or mess with it, like putting loose strands back behind the ears, or flip it back behind you so the ends aren't dipping in the cooking pot of hot oil.
    Trust me, we do NOT care how pretty, or long, your hair is when you're in the kitchen!!

      Thank you!!! At least this lady isn’t preparing food. Ball Canning CZcams has some woman with her nasty hair hanging down while she’s actually preparing food! Basic sanitary food handling principles always call for having your hair pulled back and restrained while working around food.

      Are you the type of person that complains about everything? Are you oblivious to the fact that she is NOT preparing food, but basically giving a tutorial from a store?
      This is like complaining about her hair while she is driving down the road with her window down...a wild hair might find its way to your $10 coffee if you are following to closely.
