The most mindboggling thing about Luka is his potential longevity. Luka's game is about skill and he isn't athletically gifted but in Madrid he was skinny and flashy that tells me that if he can get skinny or close athletically body in his prime it would be scary. And even after his prime years he will be the same Luka as he is right now minus little athletism but plus efficiency. Scary to think Luka has 15-17 years of basketball ahead of him at the level he is playing right now or at least will get better and better.

Also strength and conditioning is one a completely different level nowadays. Just look at Steph Curry's ankle situation which was addressed by strengthening his hips. Lebron might be a freak of nature but he also benefits heavily by the advances in sport's sciences when it comes to longevity.

It has nothing to do with his conditioning or getting after lose balls. Larry Bird got himself injured while working on his driveway shoveling gravel, a fluke accident. He never recovered from that. You cite Lebron but what about countless others who also had access to everything modern medicine and training provides but still struggle with injuries? Some people are just built better than others.
Cuban is such a chill guy. I love how much he loves all the players on the team and will go at people who criticize them.

I think top 10 is an understatement. From my perspective he is the only one who can potentially end up in GOAT conversation with Jordan. Not saying he will be GOAT, but he's the only one right now that even has a chance. He has that killer mentality that Jordan has.

The thing i have againts luka is the same thing i have vs Harden, If you are the best player in your team you should have the most time with the ball in your hands but you still need to cut the fat out of your game in the sense of every extra second you have the ball is potentially less time for the next point and so on.
Again, the ball hog narrative. He is the best player on the team. Why shouldn't the ball be in his hands, especially with his basketball IQ. Also, the gravity he creates for the opponents defenders often time makes scoring so much easier for his teammates.

KD scored more per game. He did this on a higher EFG% and TS%. OBVIOUSLY Luka is a much better passer, but that efficiency difference is significant. KD is also a more impactful defender. You can argue either way, but it’s harder to argue Luka is better than KD than vice versa.

it definitely comes from playing in Europe (of course his talents too), it's not just basketball, in Football ⚽ they always teach the fundamentals aspect first and that is the most important thing for them, and their sport system is built very well.

both football and basketball teams have pro and youth team, so everyday you're going to be surrounded by professionals and they'll help you to be the best player you can be.
