The product was like 8-10 years ago. And he didn't lose a million, all the sharks went in together, so it was divided. Total sum was million.

Funniest thing is, Charles the owner, was on an episode of Below Deck, which is a show on Bravo about rich people chartering yachts for a weekend. He was a huge douchbag to all the staff and obsessed with taking pictures for social media.

I think the product was fundamentally flawed. They were advertising it as a medical device and it simply wasn't accurate enough. It just wasn't a great business.

About 60% of the deals change behind the doors, so mark says he invested all 1M$ so rest of sharks probably backed out.

@@RocksmithPdl Well somehow his former attitude got him there. But I do agree, he used to occasionally be nasty when he first started on Shark Tank. He has gotten progressively nicer and I like seeing that.
oddly I remember friends of mine having everyone blow into those things at a party but because too many people put their mouth on it, I would not do it lol

I always believed in one simple rule, which is to never ever lose investors money, be it big or small. Big investors cam open so many doors. I pitched my small ideas to more then 1000 people and nobody wants to give money easily.

He's lost money overall on Shark Tank investments? That's a bit terrifying. Everyone of those products has a national TV mini-infomercial coming with it.
Overall he didnt lose money but he meant that he lost money on some deals and that he made that money back from other good deals he made

That guy ended up being sued. His product didn’t work to begin with.
His product DID work. Read the case for the lawsuit. It's not abt the product not working. It is the simple fact that they made a claim that their accuracy was supported by government-lab grade testing. That was what the lawsuit is about. It also includes cherrypicking of inaccurate instances.
This is what i love about shark tank... If you are billionaire doesn't mean you'll make others billionaire... Other than mark and barbara everyone else have less failure.. Its bcz they know how to make them work... But with mark, investors think ohh he is billionaire he will make us too... And thts when they faill.. You have to hustle for your own money ..nobody is gonna give it to you on a nice plate...

It’s literally impossible for these guys to lose money on shark tank…. They almost always get a nice premium, and on a product that is now getting national exposure
