Somogear 980nM laser through Gen 3 and Photonis night vision

The Somogear laser pointer is 980nM laser diode. It is hard to see it with Gen3 analog night vision. It is easier to see it with a Photonis tube.

Gen 3 cannot accept wavelengths beyond about 940 nm and below 500 nm. Multialkali response is broader, particularly in the UV regions.

I use cheap (~80$) fma peq15 with 308win, 9x39, 366tkm and 5.45 and it works. I think somo will hold up recoil ofcourse
