    A green laser light is ten to 50 times brighter than a red light laser. Green lasers are much more efficient and visible in daylight and direct sunlight. They can also travel longer distances, which is why they are so popular on construction sites. So, green lasers are four times more visible to the human eye than red lasers of the same output power.
    Whether blue, red, purple/violet or a light color like yellow, green is the best strength for visibility. For example, a 100mW green laser will be 5-7x brighter than a red or purple laser pointer of 100mW. So, if you're going for visibility, consider green first and foremost.
    The eye more easily perceives green, and the beam is visible along its path. But green lasers are also more dangerous. The retina more easily absorbs green, so it requires less exposure to cause damage.
    Caution: You should wear the proper protective eyewear while working with laser light. These act as filters to absorb the laser light, significantly reducing its intensity. The manufacturers make them from glass and polycarbonate to filter specific wavelength ranges.

    green vs red lasers:
    There is absolutely no difference in the accuracy provided. The key differentiators are price, brightness, visibility range, and battery life.

    The wavelength of the red laser is 650 ~ 660nm; The wavelength of the green laser is 532 nm. The shorter the wavelength, the greater the energy.     The laser emitted by the laser pointer belongs to the solid-state laser, and the red laser mainly emits light directly after being powered on by the laser diode because of the material issue. The green laser can not directly emit a green laser from the laser diode. It can only produce a green laser after infrared wavelength frequency replication conversion.

    Will all laser pointers have a potentiometer

      Not all laser pointers have a potentiometer. It depends on the design of the laser pointer and the type of laser diode it uses. Some laser pointers may have a fixed output power and don't require a potentiometer to adjust the laser output. In contrast, others might have a potentiometer for fine-tuning the laser output.🥰
