Hi Ummeeta! I love this video! Apart from how beautiful and eventful the wedding was, it shows the beautiful relationship you share with your cousins mashaa'Allah. I just have noticed something quite triggering and thought I should inform you. I think you will be doing society, and your sister's (mama) mental health a good favor by correcting Beauty when she says she is the "pretty one" by assuring them that they both are very pretty! Being in kano alone I know is a task for a dark-skinned person due to the conscious and unconscious bias portrayed by citizens towards them. But you as a family should ensure that Mama doesn't get affected by the comments she may be exposed to (people are vile) and certainly not disparaging comments from her sister.
I absolutely agree with your comment, its sad that beauty standards are still dictated by one's skin tone. They are both beautiful young ladies and i pray they both grow up accepting that fact.
