    So far so good and Comfortable for Baby Diaper Changing czcams.com/users/postUgkxPJX6WCW1H8qoBMKuvAzjhRos9V53TrlR My friend picked this one out as he said it's the only one he would feel comfortable carrying around. We've used it for a month, and no problems yet. We like that there are many different pockets, diapers in one, wipes in another, and so forth. Lots of room, but still lightweight. It's great hanging from the stollers as well.

    I have the Satchel 13 as well and solved the “fiddly strap problem” by keeping it fully closed when I feel I need extra security but otherwise just press the strap down over the brass stud without feeding it through the leather retainer loop first. If I really want quick access, I fold the main flap back onto the rear of the satchel and just use the zipper on the main compartment. IMHO, there are 4 options for closing the bag depending on how much “security” you need vs convenience.

      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety +1

      Agreed and that's how I do it as well. This really isn't an issue at all, but ita a tiny little detail that drove me more towards using the 11 on a more regular basis. I use and enjoy both of them a ton but I was leaning towards using the 11 more often than the 13 anyway. Simply because I never owned a bag this small and it presented new ways to organize myself :)

    As someone with a bit of a bag fetish I've always found it hard not to pull the trigger on a NutSac bag. The alternative I'm using that some folks might want to check out is the WaterField Designs - Vitesse Cycling Musette. Simple, good price and amazing materials.
    keep up the good work 🤙

      I like your taste in bags! Waterfield also makes great looking stuff. Haven't had a chance to get my hands on any of their gear though. They are hard to come by here in germany.

    I’ll add myself to the PD sling commenters here. I have the smaller v1 one and have recently found it to be the perfect size for my edc (which looks a lot like yours except not as many cameras and dongles). The water bottle I have that fits in it is the small Camelback chute with the magnet top in case anyone is wondering.

    • @TobisTings
      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety +1

      I honestly barely new the PD sling even existed until I saw all the comments here but now I am seriously contemplating if I should buy one (3L or 6L) to give it a try. Not sure if the bag would fit my style though, but PD sure knows how to design an intelligent and functional bag. Its tempting to say the least :)

      Definately an awesome bag and I go back and forwards between this and the 11" MagSatch shown in this video a lot. I might end up making a comparison video or a video on the 13" as well. Love these bags!

    I pressed like as soon as you post came up on my mail. I always know you videos are going to be great. Amazing - i was just looking at the Nutsac website a few days ago but it is quite expensive here in Australia especially as shipping costs from US is 30 USD. I am still considering it but perhaps my money might be better spent say on other gear. You can never have enough pocket knives or cameras it seems! But one aspect I did not consider is the "man-bag" thing. Great point - though I don't think it is a major problem for me. I am still shocked at how much you were able to pack in especially the Fuji camera since while compact it isn't exactly tiny which is why I sometimes switch it out for my Ricoh GR2.

    • @TobisTings
      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks man! I can relate to that struggle. There is just too much awesome gear out there. Where should one even begin. Personally I don't have an issue with the "man bag" situation, but thats a personal thing. The S**t I got from my colleges was only banter and nothing I would get bent out of shape about. :)
      The Nutsac fits a ton, but it takes a bit of time to figure out how to make the best out of the space at hands. I can absolutely recommend it, but it sure is an investment, especially when you have to add the costs for international shipping and probably tax.

    I use a Peak Design Sling 10L everyday which is a fun bag. You actually made me want to get a messenger style bag. I’m surprised that you don’t need extra protection for you camera. Dope!

    • @TobisTings
      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety +1

      Love Peak Designs stuff! I used to carry my camera in a neopren pouch, but in this bag its actually so safely wedged in and not in contact with any surfaces that could scratch it, that I got used to just putting it in there. Its also nice not having to take it in and out of its pouch all the time. An actual camera pack like yours would still offer more practicality and protection though.

    Have you ever tried the Deuter Air Stripes Back System? Best thing ever for summer! 80% of your back is free from the back panel.
    The XV2 and XV3 are kind of good looking and less outdoorsy.
    In case you need a summer backpack XD

      As a fellow sweaty boi, I can tell you that as great as Deuter's Air Stripe Back System is, it is not enough. Anything that presses against a sweaty person's back that isn't regularly (and ideally unconsciously) removed from it is going to end up with a sweaty back.

    Great video, thank you. I just picked up a Mag Satch 11 like yours but without the text as I am in the US where it would draw more attention. I like your water bottle a lot but it doesn’t look like I can get one here. My search continues.

      Thanks! Yeah I absolutely get that. If I'd live in the US I would probably also get the logo without the text. Otherwise its an awesome bag, hope you'll like it! The waterbottle is by 720dgree. They are readily available on german amazon but they rarely ever show up on amazon in the US. I hope you'll find something similiar to add to your bag. The bottle is just perfectly sized for a bag like this :)

    I always carried a camera in my manbag until last year, i just got tired of lugging around with a bag, just to get good pictures which also is a hazard to share on social media, my iphone takes great photos for that. And all of those "just in case" gear is overkill, those items can be left in the hotelroom. Nowadays i just carry my phone, watch, Trayvax wallet and a Victorinox MiniChamp.

    How do you like that lens hood? Does it get in the way with the view finder?
    Currently my edc bag is the peak design 6L sling. Perfect for my camera and few odds and ends I carry

    • @TobisTings
      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety

      It does get in the way when using the optical viewfinder, but since I rarely ever use it (95% EVF) it doesn't really bother me. For the most part I use it to get some distance between my lens and other stuff I carry in my bag to avoid having to use an actual lenshood. Worked fine so far :)

    There's nothing wrong with a bag in 2020. View it as a fashion accessory as much as a tool. As long as you lean into an aesthetic it can become a tasteful part of your outfit. For example, I wear mainly streetwear clothes so my Supreme waist bag fits right in. IMO Men should at least try to accessorize with stuff like bags, watches, bracelets, necklaces, rings, chains etc. Have fun and add some expression.
    Your bag IMO fits with traditional casual menswear. You made a good choice with having a leather bag because if it was something like nylon your bag might look too technical for outfits you've shown in the video. Really depends on your shoes though. I think the only way you can completely avoid male purse comments is a bigger bag or its made of other materials. My waist bag is like 2-3x bigger than most waist bags and is made of corudra. Can't really call it a purse at all. Then again I still think you made a good choice fwiw.

    • @TobisTings
      @TobisTings  Před 4 lety

      Thanks, and I agree 100%! I would also say that my style is along the lines of traditional (business) casual menswear and that the NutSac aesthetics fits that rather well. In terms of bad comments in real life I did get a few from colleges as I said, but those were togue-in-cheek / banter. I might switch to the Satchel 13 after all though, since I am currently experimenting with some camera inlays. At the end of the day its all about chosing what fits, making it work and having fun along the way :)
