@@nddr8213 idk be more productive with your work. one tip that ive heard is do the 20% of the time that gets you the 80% of the results. do (like 2 hours of) deep work only and cut out the shallow work. now that i say it this is probably from the book deep work by cal newport (that james and other people recommend). and yeah also read good books. nobody who you are competing with is doing that right now, or potentially decades in the future. i dont know about him comparing himself to others but think about it this way: compare yourself to others, but run the race with those in your league. dont think about it like ohh im not as good at football like luka modric and i will never be, think about it like you're running this race with just other idiots like me and you and you only need that little bit extra over current number one to win. for this football example just show up to practice with eagerness to exceed yourself last time. boom. you are already in the top 10% minimum. nobody is really doing that. easy to say and listen to but hard to implement i know. this is probably shit advice but just dont worry about it. if your gpa is 4.89 and theirs is 4.95 (these numbers are awful for examples) then just dont worry about it unless you know youre going to go to some crazy uni that has very high requirements. definitely do NOT study for like 12 hours a day like he is. that would possibly be the greatest detriment to your school. even sleep would benefit you more at that point easily. there you go. a fellow idiots advice. go do something. order a book. dont just sit around.

Wow I wish I looked into eink a long time ago... I know I hate paper because I can't have infinite paper or paper size, and I hate how slow windows ink registers, so I've been using a convertible laptop on linux to take notes. It works great besides the lack of support for all the whacky hardware in 2-in-1 laptops, but eink is next level man, that looks like a dream. I could have a normal laptop that actually works out of the box with every linux distro AND a tablet for taking notes and writing out pages math work that doesn't make my eyeballs bleed. also i need to go buy a bunch of big pants cuz now i wanna start carrying around a tiny notebook in my pocket to manage my unreliable adhd memory
