Easily one of the most Powerful Characters in the game, not only can he deal any form of Elemental damage to the enemies, but he can also heal your HP, SP and BP with his Seeds and dusts, not to mention that his Amputation and Last stand ability are OP as hell for an Axe type attack.
He is both one of the most interesting Characters story wise, but also one that can help you in any Boss battle with his skills and his class as secoundary Career, you can also turn Ophellia and Cyrus into beasts as well or Olberic so he can use Amputation and Last stand oh and include H'aanit.
Speaking of Ophillia, how powerful do you think she is?

Nice. So Alfyn can be the ultimate elemental breaker, one thing I've had added is that these concots are multi-hit, so a great way to cut through shields when you are low BP or have only a few people who can cause shield damage. Where a lot of the time you would be tempted to save your single hit spells for break times, with Alfyn, you can take advantage of these weaknesses. đ
Definitely. They don't do a lot of damage, but getting shields down is a big priority.
Not to Mention his Amputation and Last Stand ability, massive damage healer and on top of that, a great medic than can heal not only Status problems heal your HP and SP, but can fill up your BP to deal some heavy damage and his Divine skill allows you to fully utilize healing items to thier best, expsecially with Tressa's ability( or equip anyone with the skill that makes you sometimes be able to use a item without losing it afterwards, once you can add a secoundary class to one of your Characters) of having the chance to not wasting one when she uses it.
That's why he is along with H'aanit( maybe even more broken, since the Monsters she commands do far more damage theoretically, when you catch the goods ones) Cyrus( best offensive Spell caster) and Olberic( OP Swordsman and Lancer) one of the most Powerful Members of your team.
I made Alfyn the Merchant because with a 25% chance, using concoct could end up being a free use.

Anamana! Thanks. As long as I understand what each class can do, I can pair their second job.
Olberic and Hâannit both work as Warriors and hunters. Both have decent to pretty good physical output. With Hâaanitâs ability, there is a 50% chance they can attack once more on a standard attack.
Therion works very well as a dancer thief since he can debuff and buff at the same time. Being able to steal SP and HP, he can manage on his own while with SP Share, he can care for others as well. Plus with 50% to attack while debuffing and 50% chance to counterattack when targeted, he makes a VERY defensive role.
Tressa is a merchant thief. I kinda had her play similar to Nami. It works since she can make a lot of money, she can be a replacement if Therion isnât in the party (Except she canât buff allies unless you donate BP). She has the 25% to prevent an item from depleting (Canât recall name. Sorry) so she can steal and use items if needed. Plus this opens her to use 2 more weapons like Olberic and Hâaanit.
Ophilia is a cleric apothecary. LITERALLY makes her the best healer in the game. This role can also work for Alfyn because of concoct but I didnât want these two to be the same or similar. Ophilia has HIGH amounts of SP with the proper gear and I gave her the Golden Axe and with her summon, she should be able to hit pretty hard. It all varies on choice but Ophilia works better as Apothecary and itâs possible Alfyn can work as Cleric.
Primrose was scholar so I can add some offensive support to her. Plus with analyze, she can be supportive in other ways. I canât say I know enough for my reason.
Alfyn would become merchant for what I mentioned earlier plus he can be a supportive healer. He can care for himself and care for others and he should be a substitute use for Tressa for money farming and defensive roles.
Lastly, Cyrus was Cleric. I was struggling pretty hard with the last 3 but these roles play very good for each character. Cyrus having a decent amount of SP and having high elemental attack means he can play offensive and defensive. I gave him the Mageâs staff which has the highest stats I could afford which has high elemental attack. My best matchup I can do for each character. Would like an evaluation to know where changes or improvements can be done.
Hyper Sonic Cyrus and Primrose can work as well together since thier Divine abilities compliment one another as his increases the strenght of his magical attacks for 3 rounds., but only allows him to hit one unit, whereas Primrose's divine skill makes you attack all Enemies.
Hyper Sonic But isn't Primrose's magical Abilities below Ophillia's and Cyrus? that could be a waste if you ask me.
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 I changed Cyrus to merchant and Alfyn to cleric. Since most of Cyrus's spells take a lot of sp, having rest and sp conserve, it would benefit him best. Thereon works best with dancer for SO many reasons.

alfyn is a great support elem breaks and party recovery for HP,SP, BP, ?! insane! you just have to know what is what for the ingredients
Just got OT1 and love the game, but my biggest gripe is that good abilities are locked to individual character rather than being tied to a class, and there is no character creation, youâre forced to play the characters theyâve written for you.

Apothecary is a great class in general. I imagine if you master concoct, Alfyn might be incredible. I'll probably start with him on my 2nd playthrough.
Should be that way. Some concoctions seem weak at the start of the game, guessing with better materials and usage, itâll be very powerful.
@@AnamanaCh They are there to weaken enemies, so making little damage is the least thing to worry about.
How do you do the heal all?!! Thatâs the main thing Iâm trying to figure out. I need that because I keep getting obliterated no matter how powerful I am doing the secret shrine quests đ€Šđœââïž
Do we know if concoct works with the merchant endless items support skill?
I'd assume this may be a thing when we can have Alfyn as a Merchant with his subclass.
The only problem is that I donât know what half of the things mean. Like inspiriting balm. Idk what that does
the in battle guide doesnt show on my game is their a way to turn it back on or does it disappear after a point?
The screens that pop up before you do something new? Those are one time. Could go Miscellaneous, then Tutorial for all of those screens.

At level 55 and finished Alfyn's story and have never used "Concoct"... Wish the game itself had explained this... Super complicated

So you don't like Apothecary then. He is pretty much the ideal version of the Modern Doctor helping and saving anyone, to understand his awesome and amazing Character, you have to understand Medical and Natural Philosophy as well, or just have a heart for all doctors.
