Tons of back cover to blend into. Beautiful.
pro tip. tilt the bottom up a little, then put the strap on and ratchet it down. then bring the bottom down, and it will snuggle right up to the tree. no wiggle or anything. no need for a third strap.

It’s heavy as hell but I killed my behest bucket ever out of this stand in October this year, super super comfortable
It is comfortable. They have one with armrests now that I wish they would’ve had when I bought these. I spent a lot of hours in this stand during elk season, several all day sits and can’t wait to get back in it next season 👍…thanks for watching and the comment
you don't need the ratchet strap. You can toe hook it to get a better bite. There are youtube videos on how to do it on a saddle platform, but in your case, you'd sit on the sit while strapped to the tree and pull the platform up towards you maybe about 30 degrees with your foot on the ledge. This will cause the bite on the tree to lessen and the stand to sink further down. while keeping some weight on the seat, you would then put pressure on the platform again until it's fully open. You'd want to practice this several times on ground level.
I recommend keeping your bottom strap somewhat loose while doing this and tighten it after you've finished toe hooking the stand
When ya assemble it replace the cables with swing set chain .. They tend to rot from the inside out
Does it come with any carry straps?
I believe it does…I’m guessing those are the black straps on the bottom of the foot stand…I packed it a ways back in the mountains and used a frame pack for it…I carried another one 1/2 mile up a steep mountain just in my hands and it wasn’t really that bad to carry
