    Seems to me that the spin move relinquishes control of the opponent. Also there are some unrealistic body dynamics here: after the strike to the midsection, the uke straightens back up so the rest of the technique can be executed whereas in reality, the attacker would stay more or less doubled over, making the rest of the technique impossible to execute. With the attacker doubled over and his body weight forward as a result of the midsection strike, it seems like it would be very hard to get that throw to work. With respect.

    I would have rotated in the other direction, this would have avoided exposing the back and have helped gaining momentum for the projection ...

    Interesting Ninja Techniques, but you could be more effective with fewer body mechanics movements. Learn from Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do too. Also, a torso punch in this video above will not do much, unless the wind is knocked out. But that depends on their breathing patterns.

    This is watered down kiddie jutsu. The main goal of ninjutsu is to destroy your enemy in one strike, not 8.

      Right!!!! I am 5'8. There is one technique where the Ninja picked his enemy up off of the floor like a barbell, and kneed him in the ribs. I could do that to a guy my size, but not a 6 foot tall, 200 pound bouncer 😅

      @@SuubUrbanNinja of course I do. In reality though, one wouldnt have time to do half of the techniques. I have 4 dan in Bujinkan so Ive trained a whole lot of ninjitsu. Its fun but its not very realistic. Recent years Ive turned to Krav Maga, that shit is real.

    • @SuubUrbanNinja
      @SuubUrbanNinja  Před 5 lety

      The reality is you have to keep moving. This is a technique demonstrated . So yes the opponent won't stand but neither will you and in the action you will keep moving and use all or parts of the technique shown.

  • @righteousshadowsdojopt.3979

  • @ObiwanShinobii
    @ObiwanShinobii Před 9 měsíci

    I'm a Ninpo practitioner and this is a joke. First, your uke offers completely zero resistance and is completely stationary. Level up your techniques by allowing your uke to freely move, even if with a limited but random set of movements. Second, if anyone employed this kind of "self-defense" (assuming they could even get it to somehow work) they would go straight to prison. If you're attacking people on the ground while you're standing, it's battle, not self-defense. And third, the spin toward your back is totally unnecessary and seems like it's just being done for showmanship.

    • @SuubUrbanNinja
      @SuubUrbanNinja  Před 10 lety

      Kicked in the groin from this technique? It can't happen cause you hit him hard in the stomach and the person bends over, so he can't do a kick from that position. Then you pivot to the side of his body , and hurt his elbow joint so he cant kick your groin from there either. But thanks for your input.

    • @blackswordshinobi
