    Hi! We have already considered the matter, what we preferred was to keep ourselves under 5-6 minutes of video so it could be the most direct and immediate as possible. In this series we decided to make 2 techniques every episode, we'll try soon to experience another solution. We have a latest video ready to be launched, then we'll send a new online series, perhaps with some specific requests made by you who follow us. Thank you again for your support and comments!

    Well, he is a Karate 2nd Dan too... and of course his style is also influenced by this discipline. However, to know what he is saying, please enable captions in English using the small button on the bottom right corner of the video: it is the one on the left of the gear.

    This might be a risk thing to do, but you could also apply the roundhouse technique to this one

    • @JosephArlettaz
      @JosephArlettaz Před 8 lety

      +Rez Hassan Hello! Thanks for comment! Surely you have several options to counter a round attack, the video shows one of many variations that you can apply. The main problem is not so much the type of technique that you want to perform(which still has to be well executed) but the reflection you have, the specific area of your body is going to be targeted from the kick, the surrounding environment (if you have or not space to be able to move around), the difference in weight and height with your opponent, ecc. Those are all variables you have to consider, then you must be able to quickly adapt your defense and base it on what you've captured.

      +Marco Villa Ciao Marco, ti ringrazio tanto per il commento. Non ho video che mostrano le tecniche del sistema che insegno, in realtà sono del parere che per trasmettere un insegnamento o acquisire una determinata abilità, sia necessario confrontarsi a tu per tu praticando in prima persona. Il video può essere una soluzione per tenere bene a mente i movimenti e le esecuzioni una volta che sono state acquisite, oppure per mostrare a grandi linee di cosa si sta parlando in termini di difesa, ma sicuramente è impossibile inserire all'interno di un video tutti i piccoli dettagli che formano la tecnica, senza contare tutti i procedimenti psicologici da tenere a mente durante l'esecuzione, e far confluire tutto secondo me non è fattibile.

  • @davi8708
    @davi8708 Před 10 lety

    that really sounds like krav maga and not ninjutsu, especially the stick defense

    • @JosephArlettaz
      @JosephArlettaz Před 10 lety +2

      It 'funny how the Ninjutsu sink its origins as early as 500 BC while Krav Maga around 1950 .. How is equally curious that the first Westerners to study the Japanese disciplines, were not the Americans (as you think) but the Israelis. And the main techniques of strangulation, blocking, projection and disarmament of Krav coming from Japanese Ju Jutsu (Ontai tagaki Yoshin Ryu Ju Jutsu, one of the 36 schools of Ninpo / Ninjutsu). So yes, this is Ninjutsu, from which Krav Maga disciplin drew much of his technical knowledge.

    • @davi8708
      @davi8708 Před 10 lety

      ok, im sorry,just a little correction the krav come from kapap

    • @JosephArlettaz
      @JosephArlettaz Před 10 lety

      davi lopes souza You right mate, i made a mistake: in the last line of my comment i meant, "from wich kapap (krav panim el panim = face to face combat) discipline drew much of Ninjutsu technical knowledge ". Of course, kapap is for military resolution only, while krav maga was designed for civilians. Ninpo and Ninjutsu developed in a period of civil wars (1500 a.C Sengoku Jidai) and where exclusive techniques used by Ninja for their military operations.

      @Tyler_Lalonde- Před 9 lety

      Joseph Arlettaz no krav didn't get their stuff from this bullshit ninja crap. They got it from multiple sources most likely dan inosanto and jkd, fma hybrid.

    • @JosephArlettaz
      @JosephArlettaz Před 9 lety

      Tyler Lalonde Since you have the arrogance to believe to know everything about Ninjas, Ninjutsu, Krav Maga, citing Inosanto and Jeet Kune Do, that they have nothing to do in this context (and with this assertion I'm thinking that you are completely incompetent in this sector), I urge you to read again history from 1200 BC, when Ninjutsu was an operational combat system during the Sengoku Jidai, where warriors fought with a wide range of knives and sticks and they were specialized in patrol, close combat, range combat, armed combat, assassination, sabotage and intelligence. It’s so shabby that you talk without any knowledge of the argument, and I find this is really sad as well as totally unprofessional.
      I'm bored and tired of having to constantly repeat things to people who have no interest doing a historical verification of disciplines’ birth, you could make an effort and read some post on the internet, or if you prefer, some comments below. I inform you, since you don’t know, that Ninjutsu has its roots in 500/300 BC, while Krav Maga was born in the first half of the twentieth century and founded by Imi Lichtenfeld, therefore I see very improbable that Ninjutsu has acquired techniques from Krav Maga when it was historically established that the first Westerners to study in Japan were just the Israelis, learning the techniques of Jujutsu. I have a vague sensation that it was the contrary! Do you know the Jujutsu provided and includes now days the use of the stick? No? mh .... As I imagined.. And do you know that Jujutsu comes from the On tai tagaki Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu, a classic Ninja school? No? You should turn on your brain's light and document yourself before open your mouth next time. But this is only an advice!
      Do you think that after 2,000 years men has invented something new? Do you know Krav Maga has acquired much of its technical background from Boxing, Karate, Judo, Aikido and Japanese Jujutsu? Oops .. They’re already 3 Japanese disciplines ..! How strange! It seems that you are missing several steps dear genius. Obviously you're one of the many phenomena that do not want to waste their precious time to study a discipline for years, because they want the magic wand to become a master of words in a couple of weeks. And the absurd thing is that I'm also running out of time to answer to you.. You’re good in one thing: criticize, because you are not able to prove nothing.
