Great video I would love to see more about the bike and maybe some trail riding videos but I haven’t looked if you do yet so you might. Also what size bike did you get?
I’ve been thinking about getting the Capra 27.5. Is it playful enough to be able to bunny hop easily and get the back end up and whip out the back end to get around corners easier?
Thanks for the review :) but do did you climb on easy trails or techy uphills? I would like to know how well it climbs in technical uphills. Also, what do you think about the coil spring rate (450pounds) for you and how heavy are you? Do you think 140 pounds is too light to ride on that spring?(as a pretty good rider)
I climbed up fire roads(gravel and paved) and I also climbed up steeper more technically challenging trails with roots and rocks as well👍 from my experience so far with the coil I’ve enjoyed how it’s performed on everything including jumps. I’m about 165 lbs and it seems feel good after a few weeks and two trips to trails...I’m not totally sure how it would feel for someone around 140 but according to one of my buddies just a little over 140 it felt pretty good to him
After two rides it’s felt pretty good I dint have much to complain about it yet. If anything it’s maybe just a touch soft but I don’t really think it is, so far it’s felt just about right👍
An aluminum frame will perform just fine. Carbon is stronger yes, but it is considered to be more of a luxury to have or at least that’s how I see it. Carbon is also subject to cracking from smaller impacts than aluminum. It can also just come down to preference I think haha
I’m not quite sure as I’ve never ridden a process 153 but I’d assume it would be a little more playful than the shred mainly just due to the geometry, amount of travel and the coil in the rear. Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer man
Climbing comes down to fitness.
The only reason I climb is for the downhill lol. Just ordered this bike. Im stoked to get it!
Me too haha, that’s sick man I hope u enjoy it🤘
Does it come with the frame it doesn’t show on the website

Hey man, I’d definitely recommend this bike for any enduro or downhill use. Don’t worry about the English I’m just glad to have you here🤘🤘
@@epicnw5846 thanks men =)
How did the spring feel? Was it too hard or too soft?
After two rides it’s felt pretty good I dint have much to complain about it yet. If anything it’s maybe just a touch soft but I don’t really think it is, so far it’s felt just about right👍
Hang Loose ok sounds good
Hang Loose if you don’t mind me asking, how much do you weigh?
Maxn 1210 haha I don’t mind, I’m about 165 on average
What's the difference between the Capra Shred and the Capra Base?
I believe the main difference is with the drivetrain and suspension but you might have to check me on that
Should you buy an aluminum frame?
Вecause aluminum is subject to fatigue. and it can break from heavy loads.
Or I'm wrong??? Prompt
An aluminum frame will perform just fine. Carbon is stronger yes, but it is considered to be more of a luxury to have or at least that’s how I see it. Carbon is also subject to cracking from smaller impacts than aluminum. It can also just come down to preference I think haha
@@epicnw5846 Thanks for the answer!)
Hey I have a kona process 153 I love how playful it is is the Capra shred just as playful as my kona?
I’m not quite sure as I’ve never ridden a process 153 but I’d assume it would be a little more playful than the shred mainly just due to the geometry, amount of travel and the coil in the rear. Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer man
I’d assume the kona would be more playful because it has a super short chainstay
Ok guys thanks 🙏
Can you lock the Suspension?
You can essentially lock the fork out and and noticeably stiffen the rear coil but not fully lock it out
Would I be fine riding this bike around my local trails?
It depends on what you’re looking for in your riding experience, without any further info tho I’d say you would be just fine
@@epicnw5846 okay thank you sm
I am 6'1 ..... i Would by a 27.5 XL ... Do you think this fits? Thanks bro
I’m 6’1 as well and I got the XL and it fits great
Same as @hang lose....6’1” and I have the XL, wouldn’t want any different.
@@mikepal2002 thx bro's!! ordered!

Nope not white haha, it’s slab gray which is basically just a light gray
@@epicnw5846 thanks you
