  • Everything you think, feel, and do is based on stuff that's happening in your brain. This means that by changing what happens in our brain, we can affect every other process in our lives.
    Here's how to use the power of "positive neuroplasticity" to change your brain for good.

    Thank you for this! It was uncannily timely for me in a personal way and also a joy to watch. I’ve been a fan and subscriber of the Being Well podcast for quite some time and I love the gentle and meaningful way you and Dr. Hanson approach things. Not to mention the humor! I appreciate both of you so much.

    Thank you for such a clearly explained process and the encouragement to chunk down those goals I truly want to embrace and be honest about the one(s) I choose.

    Nice Job, Forrest! I got through the whole video and it was well done. You’re also hilarious.
    Keep it up. Building a CZcams audience takes time but you can do it.

    oh, and! I love the graphics...I think I learn best with a multitude of media. Sometimes I think my brain switches off when listening to words. What are your thoughts about this!?

    • @ForrestHanson
      @ForrestHanson  Před 3 lety

      Absolutely! Different people have different learning styles. Visual vs. auditory vs. kinetic and so on. I'm predominantly an auditory learner, but it helps if I can write and repeat as well.
      A lot of people - including my girlfriend - report exactly what you do, that listening for long periods of time can kinda cause your brain to "turn off" or zone out.

      @@ForrestHanson Always helpful to be understood!!...and affirmed for my experience. Thanks. I often think there is "something wrong with me" when I lose track. I'm betting this is why I loved your facial expressions, raised eyebrows, clips of others, all the visuals. I am learning French and I experience the same thing...I seem to become really animated when the learning is interpersonal, relational, thru music, graphics etc! Thus mixing up how material is presented...so helpful!!! Thanks so much for your work. You make a difference!
