Seeing Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers as best buddies is morbidly wholesome. I honestly feel like they would either get along like that or try to kill each other for taking the others prey.
From a horror perspective it does make a lot of sense, and it's just really fun to see.
In fact there is a cĂłmic of this idea (get along and finally try kill) but of Jason and Leatherface

Usually pilots wear flight suits and PJs wear jumpsuits hence the term. Maintenance workers wear coveralls. They all look similar but they all serve different purposes. Jump suits are more aerodynamic, flight suits worn by pilots and officers usually have nametapes and insignias. Coveralls are literally just throw away bodysuits to prevent your actual uniform from getting worn out from grease, oil, ect
I was thinking how Jason doesn't wear coveralls. The 5th movie doesn't count because the killer wasnt Jason.

Pamela vorhees was the first killer of the first movie but Jason was mainly apart of the entire series and the whole story line literally reflected behind him being drowned by the kids who bullied him

Today's fact: Jason has massacred approximately 167 hapless victims (some counts do say 162). His toll ranges from a measly 10 in Part 2 to 28 in Jason X, the inexplicable sci-fi film that sent Jason into space, for some reason. It's nice to have a hobby.
Don't forget that space colony that got absolutely destroyed meaning he's killed WAY more than that. Even if it was indirect, he did kinda cause the crash.

Almost everything about the Jason films can be described as "inexplicable" lol. I'm still waiting for someone to adequately explain the end of part 8 with a straight face
The reason they continued forward with Jason after his mother was because they didn't orginally plan on sequels. The creators thought it would be a one off even Betsy Palmer thought it wouldn't be as popular as it became in the end. She even had people come up behind her in grocery stores and make the icon "ch ch ah ah ah" sound XD.

Leatherface would be their annoying but lovable neighbor they can't stand and Freddy Krueger would be the friend who lives across the street who comes over to hang out and consistently walks in during their shenanigans at the most inopportune time, catching them in seemingly sexually suggestive but completely and innocently coincidental positions Ă la Mr Furley on Three's Company.
