I appreciate the fact that somebody tried recording some of this. I wish Universal would release the original cartoon footage officially, this thing would be totally lost right now since the ride's revamp if not for the fact that a fan recorded some of it for preservation. That original footage is probably sitting in a Universal vault somewhere right now- put it online for people to enjoy, Universal! That's a slice of theme park history! Same goes for the Spidey and Doctor Doom cartoons, even though they still run I'd love to see the original footage.
Seriously, its a shame they got rid of it, and even worse that to this day all we have is it in parts recorded off phones, instead of the better quality it could be if Universal just posted it. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t even tried selling it. I have good memories of this ride and part of what made the line not seem so long was watching this while waiting. Does anyone know why they got rid of this part of the ride? It was so cool to have a complete storyline to go along with the ride. Honestly, it was my favorite part and made waiting in line enjoyable. I know they want to update things but they should have left this part in.

It was specifically commissioned for the ride. Unfortunately, due to the remodel, this cartoon is not used anymore.
