- So far I'm loving these 3D MAXpider Kagu Rubber mats, Laser cut for the Challenger the fit is near perfect. We're talking about less than 1mm gap in 1 or 2 areas which I show in my video and it may even be related just being out of form from shipping. They feel nice and grippy under foot and look outstanding. These mats DO NOT SMELL which many mats I've purchased in the past carry a funky stench for a few weeks and the grip to the carpet below is like glue yet you can lift them out of the car easily for cleaning if required. I.e. they don't slide around under foot, but when you lift straight up they come out smoothly (you are NOT peeling them out like Velcro)

After doing my research for the past week about available floor liners, I've ordered a set for my son's Hyundai Elantra and my Toyota Tundra Crewcab earlier today. Although this video is almost 3 years old, it has reassured me that I made an excellent selection. Thank you.

I have these same Floor mats in my 2018 challenger and love them. They look very nice and match the Personality of the car. Especially compared to weather tech IMO. Make cleaning easy. Keep up the good work!

Had these same floor mats I bought like 3 years ago for my Dodge Grand Caravan. I TOTALLY loved them. When I traded her for my Challenger I took out and sold to a coworker for 20$! I don't know if she realizes how good of a deal she got. HAHA ... oh and thanks for the NOWEEDS clip in the beginning. Mine's getting shipped out to me very soon!

I have these in my Challenger, and love them. Great mats for daily driving. Highly recommended if you want a good mat and don't need the heavy husky type mats for snow/mud.

Just recently subscribed, I have a 2015 manual challenger and have decided to “mod” it. You do great videos and enjoy watching them. Looks like these mats are a great second mod. My first was a pedal commander.
Glad you commented, this has something I was thinking about and hopefully you can answer. For me in the manual subtle changes to the throttle response take a little time to get used to in the gas clutch process. I find when I switch to sport the increased throttle response I slip the clutch a bit more my first few shifts till my brain adjusts.
From what I know the Pedal commander gives you a ton of throttle response options. does that mess with you when you switch between them?
Work Play Drive not trying to over exaggerate but it felt like I supercharged my engine. I first tried pedal commander in daily driving mode and wow.. it’s awesome. In racing purpose mode and add plus four is goodbye tires.
As far as the clutch.... well I’m not the worlds best drive and I felt that up to spirited driving mode I did good. Felt like I had to “ feather” clutch in racing purpose mode. I have the Bluetooth version which you can operate from the phone. About the only negative to this system is the long wire and where to put or mount the system too. Just feel like it needs a different mounting option. But then again with the Bluetooth version I can leave it under the dash and still operate all options with my phone so to leave it out of plain sight

The day I bought the car my Mopar Godfather, a very good friend of mine, his wife died. Literally in the very early morning hours of the day I bought the car. When I went to his house that day, after picking up the car, it was a wet night the night before. I got a mud stain on the driver's side floor mat. Not even professional detailers have been able to get the stain out of the floor mat. I think it was her acknowledgement. So when I get these floor mats that old one will stay in the trunk of the car. If someone asks me why I will relate this story. I know I'm being weird about it but I think if I get rid of that mat there would be some bad juju.

Absolutely, I found that shaking them out and wiping them with water and a microfiber keeps them looking like new.
good car mats have been turning to be neccessary parts of the vehicle.
I had these in my Honda under the Aries nameplate and MAXpider tag underneath. Drivers one wore though after 2 winters but still didn't look horrible.
I’ve seen these in dozens of vehicles and I’ve never seen a bad fit unlike weathertech where ive seen more bad fitment than good.
The new intro is very nice but those mats are very nice and the color choice just blends perfectly! Nice choice!!!

They are and have held up very well.
Just make sure you don’t use any chemicals to clean them. Some car wash suds and a microfiber is perfect.

Enjoyed your video on these 3D mats. I love my Dodge mats which are black and red which is why I haven’t switched to aftermarket mats. But I go crazy trying to keep the OEM mats clean especially the driver side. Wonder if they will make them multicolored. I really like my red and black mats.

Yeah I know I was so disappointed with the audio the Hero6 Black is awful if you are touching the cam with the included holder. I bought the microphone input connector and a good remote mic to fix this problem so it won't happen again ...hopefully
The recesses are not too deep I'm thinking a microfiber would be all that's needed. Maybe next week I'll do a cleaning video, I got them real dirty on our mountain cruise.
Great video as always, man. Two things I’m curious about: how easy will it be to clean out all of those crevices on the mat, and how easy is it to pull out the mat when you have enough dirt or sand that you want to take them out and shake/bang them out before vacuuming/cleaning. We’d appreciate to hear how your experience goes.
Pulling out the mat is easy as long as you lift up, sliding forwards and backwards it's stuck to the floor. It's not difficult to pullout i.e. you won't be spilling a mat full of sand back into your car. I'm assuming a microfiber is all that will be needed to clean those grooves, but will know more soon. I filled them up with dirt from our cruise in the mountains.

I meant fit, however during that time I had been doing a ton of research on lowering my car and wheels. The term fitment is pretty much in every video, article, etc, so it just came out ;)

3Dmaxpinder do not hold up over time I got them in my flex after about 1 year they start to fade. the foot pad on the driver's side will start to come off the grip on the bottom of the mat has started to come off as well. my mats in the back has started to rip near one of the corners for the price I expected alot better quality just bought weathertechs for my wife's car hope those hold up better.
I had a similar experience for my 2014 Ram. Bought these mats & the drivers side had a hole in them in less than 6 months time & I try to take good care of my vehicles. Definitely a not buy again product.

I'd love to, but can't lower the car here, I cant even get in my driveway now without scraping. I've got an AirLift system on the parts list, but priority 1 is a whipple, headers, PCM, tune and hopefully I can do drop ins. As much as a lowered stance attracts me the cash is better spent on parts that go vroom.

So we had our first 3 storms in a row and the mats held up just as expected. However cleaning them over the weekend ended in undesirable results. What is on them that won’t come off? I’ve only been cleaning them with water and a microfiber. And on occasion some dish soap.
I tried to use water and microfiber cloth but it didn't work. Had to take them out and use a brush with water and then wipe clean with microfiber. Looks perfect now.
Love those mats but that logo kills the clean look, imo. Too bad it's riveted.

Very well for me, but I’m getting feedback from some subscribers who wear heals, wood or hard bottom shoes saying they are wearing a hole in the driver side.
@@WorkPlayDrive Really? Are yours the updated version? I read from other youtuber that the old version of the "shoe cushion" portion is glued on and is peeling off whereas the new ones are molded into the mat.

When the Amazon links are hit for the 2015 and up models, it only shows the 2014 and under year makes. I keep googling for my 2015 Challenger but come up blank through all vendors. Anyone have any ideas. It's a Hellcat with a manual transmission, if it matters. Thanks

I think we’re at the 2 year mark now. The only flaw is I have a mild indent where my left heel sits. This was from the scat going back and forth for the clutch.

They look awfully stiff? And I couldn’t imagine cleaning them?
Easy to clean with water and a microfiber. When they get really bad I used all purpose cleaner.
How they holding up? Really considering these over the other big brands so much more sporty looking..
So far so good I have a small heel indent where my foot sits on the drivers matt but otherwise looking good. I’m letting mine get very dirty now to see how they stand up. I am pleased with them so far.

I'm at about 30,000 miles on these and looking good. I have a small dent in the driver's mat from where my heel sits, other than that they look like new when I wipe them down. .
I’ve had this brand of mat in my Fusion and the Challenger my wife had and I love them. Just ordered the cargo mat for my Rubicon about 20 minutes ago. My question though, is where did you get your seatbelts? Was it safetyrestore by chance?

Those belts you installed in that video are the same color I was looking at through safety restore. Love them. I won’t say too much but if you look at safety restore’s website for the same webbing you may be a little upset.
Its not perfect as it does move a bit. It does look good, but for the money I was hoping that it did not slide forward and does not match up well when it does move. Very easy to clean but would not purchase again if I had the chance.
That’s odd mine do not move at all even after over a year of use.
@@WorkPlayDrive seriously they move forward. Not saying you wrong but they do move forward. Look at your right side before accelerator and you will see a gap and just under seat you will see it having a gap. I know you get a plus for promoting but they need to have a velcro to keep them tight.

most likely not, the trans hump is a little different so the other fitted mats like weather tech do not fit. I'm sure the emblems can be removed but I don't know what they will leave behind. They seem to be on there very solid
How easy are they to clean up after some muddy shoes?
I use water or car wash suds and a microfiber towel when they are really dirty and they come clean. You cannot use strong cleaners or brushes as it may ruin the deep black finish.

Nope totally different mats, the company can't keep them in stock. it looks like you may need to wait until the make more. I waited for months for mine to be available ;(. The mats are holding up fine I have not cleaned my driver mat since this video. When I get back I'm going to clean it and see how it's looking after grinding dirt and leaves into it for a few weeks.

They don’t look like they clean well with the mesh pattern..
I shake them out then use water and microfiber is all I use to keep them clean. The only Matt that gets really dirty is the driver side. For this I sometimes use car wash suds. They clean easily.

Not sure what they are made from but no smell. Even on hot days.
Can the logo emblem on the mats be removed?
Yes, but they leave a hole and impression behind. I thought they were a bit too loud myself, but because of where they sit you really cant see them when in the car so I just left them there.

Good so far l, I do have a little divot where my heel goes. Otherwise they look flawless.

Not sure They have a 2014 and earlier version, but not sure if the trunk dimensions are the same.
how are they holding up?
So far so good, one of the things I like about them is I can pull out the driver mat, shake it off then wipe it down with a wet rag, no need to vacuum. Really helps at car shows.
Do you know if these will actually fit the 2019??
I’m assuming they are the same only the GT has a different floor dimension. If you amazon Prime you can always return if they don’t fit.

The mats have been awesome I just transferred them to my new car. They have been easy to clean with water and microfiber.
I ruined the drivers mat though I cleaned it with Adams tire and rubber cleaner and it turned the driver Matt white wherever I scrubbed 🤦♂️
Can you hose these down?
Yes you can scrub them With a brush and rinse. So far I’ve Just wiped them with a wet microfiber.
