    But, why is Panasonic Kairos up to two times more expensive than any other SDI-based video mixer/switcher in the equal configuration? :)

      not really defending Panasonic, but that's sort of same for all smpte2110 supporting devices. :[ pretty damm expensive execept BMD which is pretty unstable and shitty to actually use in live show yet (have tested BMD st2110 products already)

      ​@@wefwefwef17 On the broadcast market, Kairos is a unique device. Kairos has an original PC core. Unfortunately, the solution has as many advantages, as so many disadvantages. Hope in the Kairos, there were fixed base bugs these were in the Dyvi.
      I think you are just partly right about the price of Kairos.
      IP switch and Riedel gateways are the part of mixer or not? All depend on the common architecture of the control room.
      In my opinion BMD, and Newtek (in the global sense) these solutions are not related to the broadcast segment.
      But, the design of the BMD frames is excellent!
