Not the best performance âïž
But glad we won our last PL game đ
Last game Soyfan was good
2day he was poor
Lost the ball so many times
Anyways don't care too much
Just happy we won
Dalot ✠This season
1 of our better players
Rasmus off the bench âĄ
Another goal
2 in 2
FA Cup time!
Will be a difficult game
But I hope we pull off a surprise win

Hojlund setting himself up once again, kid has so much potential
đ
Definitely made the best decision.. Casemiro was screaming for the pass but Hojlund was like ânah fug this ima take this oneâ Smash!!
If he doesnât do it all on his own he wonât get a chance. If thereâs any player you can forgive for being âselfishâ itâs him. Fully deserved
@@theshadow3286 100% agree
Man is not good at all no matter how many goals he scores 70mill a waste of money .... this shows how low the bar is at manu football club when scrubs like those been hail as been good.
I disagree Stephen ⊠Man City have cheated! Pumping in huge amounts of money through the back door, has allowed them to buy the best players and manager when they shouldnt have been able to do that! So same thing but different charges
Exactly without financial doping theyâre a nothing club
So true..the integrity of the premier league has been compromised.. until those guilty have been held accountable, we will no longer have a competitive league.. forever tarnished.
I pray to god we never have to watch McTominay/Bruno running around like a false 9 never ever again. As soon as we brought on a real center forward we looked so much better with the ball on offense
Donât expect ten hag selection to make sense

Hojlund getting into form for the final nicely. You know how streaky strikers are. Licha is back. Gives me hope. Steal it in the FA - get Europa get some INEOS signings and we go again. We're football fans - who are we not to believe blindly. COME ON REDS
Hojlund does inject some and belief, he does.
Hojlund, Mainoo, Garnacho, Licha (if he can handle the demands of the prem), and maybe Dalot and Onana are something to work with.
I like Bruno but heâs not a captain.
Not really fond of us in the europa league next season. Its better with just domestic league and cups next season. If the owners are really onto the clearout we hoped for, means there'll be a bunch of new players coming in. The manager needs the extra days to really coached and get the players to really understand his style of play and knows how to execute them, unlike this season..
Hojlund is cooking đ
I was so so happy he dint pass that ball to garnacho
He's scored that kind of goal three times now, being shown to his right, taking it on and burying it. A valuable quality.
he scores when he gets the role he should be at momnet, impact sub, same goes for garnacho, way better from bench than a starter.
So are City. But it's the books they're cooking.
Casemiro was fantastic today. Lots of great interceptions, sharper passing, and great direct balls to the forwards. He came alive today after a long time.
Yeah I think itâs been so harsh on him how much stick heâs been getting while playing centre back, Iâm like âHeâs doing a job for us that isnât supposed to be his jobâ and as soon as he got back in his position with Varane and Martinez behind him he was so different, he was clearly very happy to be back where he belongs
I guess he wants to play in the final.........
C. Palace 4-0 United. Ten Hag is the worst manager.
C. Palace 5-0 Villa. Oh Emery is a great manager.
Every trending manager is always better than Ten Hag. Funny how they never trend for long. From Ange to De Zerbi to Tuchel to O'Neil. No one talks when they stop getting the best out of their playersđ.
Say it again brotherđđđđ we as fans just need to block out the noise and back Erik Ten Hag, not just when we win but when we're going through hard times too, like this season
True. Now it's Glasner. Funny enough it's almost always a new manager bounce of 10 games or so
Are you actually dumb? No one thinks emery is a bad manager because he had one bad game after top 4 was already in the bag
4-3 United in the FA cup final, HĂžjlund hattrick with his right foot, head and ass.
Lol - I hope so.
Hoijlund is basically like... Aite no ones gonna pass to me so I better start making my own chances and score lol.
They've cheated on the pitch because by cooking the books it allows you to hoard quality like nobody else.
Hopefully weâve not used up all our luck todayâŠ
Fitting of Dalot & Hojlund to get the goals- both very deserving.
Now let the clear out BEGIN.
No European football should be a blessing. Hopefully a few good signings and an injury free season can put us back on the road to glory.
GGMU
We have been lucky all season.
Garnacho is becoming a real problem with his refusal to pass
Impact sub only at his age and level of development. All he can see is goals for himself, and it only works as a late raiding strategy.
Very same as Ronaldo when he was at United, he is literally trying to follow in his footsteps which isn't a bad thing he has got a lot of potential
Would he have passed more if he didn't score the potential puskas winning goal? I wonder if that goal made him over confident.
I miss players like Giggs who used to sprint down the wing past the defenders and cross the ball. Every winger we have now goes for goal themselves and doesn't cross.
Meanwhile Amad is pinging passes around and creating lots of chances, I hope he plays in the final
Clean sheet.
I have to agree with you that we donât need the Thursday cup next season but I would love it if we stop city getting the double
And if the premier league is as poor as you think what does that say about us
Finishing 8th with a negative goal difference
I am undecided on Ten Hag we canât keep changing the manager I think this time we should replace as many players as possible
And my biggest wish is to get rid of the Glazers
Itâs been a disgraceful season and Iâm glad the PL campaign is done. Finishing 8th with all those defeats is just totally unacceptable. Iâm not letting the fact that we finished with two wins, cloud over how appalling itâs been. Big changes needed.
Horrible season
Start by changing the manager. Hope Hoeness and Amorim are in the conversations.
Yeah because that worked so well the previous 6 times
@@brandonvandijk5736 Thats a great reason for keeping a manager that has taken us backwards.
@@thomasgundersen8975 No. Not at all. Look at the team not the manager at the moment. Who out of our team would City, Arsenal, or Liverpool want to buy? Bruno maybe. Mainoo maybe. Who else? We are where we are because of years of attrition. We have a mid-table team with top-of-league expectations.
It's going to take time. A change of manager is going to do sweet fa. Maybe a new manager would get players competing for positions for a few months but we need new players. And even then, Sir Jim's money isn't a magic wand that will change things. It's going to take several years. I hope not. I've been a fan since Bestie played. Changing the manager - that's like trying to polish a turd.
Garnacho's decision making is criminal. The amount of wasted attacks that end with him doing some dumb shit needs to be worked on in preseason.
Trust me I don't kno how this here fan base cannot see the this nu# 17 ain't it just kicks an run no footballing HighQ no first touch yet fans think he is the feature how come he gets to play an Sancho and amad couldn't get in the team?.. look where Sancho is going to play champions league final this youth started 37 times đą trash ball very overrated like so many others time for a change.
Everyone says De Zerbi is a good manager but he is excused for losing games due to injuries. But Ten Hag is crucified week on week. They say it's our worst season but never mention the amount of key injuries we've had. Not one of the managers they say is better than Ten Hag has won anything or got to back to back finals.
how you compare tenhag and de zerbi is baffling to me . JUST LOOK at the difference of style of play and you'll know why de zerbi is excused whislt ten hag is crucified .
United have actually scored the same amount of goals as they did last season. The issue has always been the defensive injuries, never having a settled back 4 and conceding goals and shots galore per match. But yeah, people will blame ETH for having only one defensive recruit last summer in 106 year old Jonny Evans
Cry me a river
Liverpool had three midfielders playing in defence in 2nd year of covid season,
Horrific injuries and still finished 4th.
Uniteds wage bill is highest in league and Bet spend last 7,8 years!
Injuries are one thing. But having poor tactics and playing very bad football is something else entirely.
It's why lesser teams, with worse players, have beaten or drawn with us this season.
THEY play as a team. Whereas we are CONSTANTLY looking for a bit of individual brilliance to win something.
One manages Brighton where any sort of success is overachieving. The other manages the biggest club in England where anything short of a top spot is underachieving. The scrutiny is naturally higher at the top.
there is no evidence having a 1 game a week helps the coaching. players prefer playing games, they learn more from playing and it will be boring af to have 1 game a week most of the season. it will also reduce our revenue which will not help FFP.
Current liverpool and arsenal team not having midweek football in Europe early on helped them massively with their style of play
Absolutely spot on regarding the league and this year in particular the standard was miles down
Europa League gives us a chance for Champions League the following season.
May be miles off, but I do wonder if the comments about Case from Ratcliffe had an effect on him.
I mean, it sounds far fetched, but he was singled out to highlight a poor transfer strategy. Bound to have some type of impact.
de zerbi kept smiling/smirk everytime we miss passed, mahn i like ten hag but he keeps underperforming
loved following you Steve this season, loved your opinions on a poor united season, you say it as it is which is very rare these days...Hopefully we can celebrate a cup win next week.....
Really strange shit, sitting here feeling like today was it; even thinking about the cup final fills me with doom.
I think we really need to come back next season with ETH as manager. Unless the club has had the input of Berrada and Ashworth along with Wilcox then what is the point of hiring a manager they may not want?
Yes, he needs to get some good players under him, especially the midfield and another striker. The club could do with making some kind of announcement about his future.
Think we definitely need an experienced striker bringing in.. not sure who we could tempt but Hojlund has shown his promise and think he would just get better and better with someone to learn from..
And our wingers need a kick up the arse and start feeding the front.. Rasmus has shown heâs a capable finisher
Garnacho not passing is the problem
@@sunglee3935 I agree.. I think it will come with experience but he's still living on the weight put on him from that goal against Everton đ
Agreed. I don't know but he strikes me as a player that would be better with another forward by him around the box. I remember Ruud being more of a poacher and always lurking around the box. Hojlund us all over the place because he isn't getting the service.
@@EponaDreams-AmbientDreamscapes Ruud was the ultimate poacher⊠players like Scholes and Giggs just new how to find him
De Zerbi to AC Milan, reckons my Italian contact. He was in their youth system.
115 charges.... errr can anybody find the Premier league board members?..
The league president was at the Emirates for the game ffsđ
Why isn't anyone talking about Joachim Andersen of crystal palace. He could be a great buy and not cost a lot of money at the centre back position
Ckuldnt agree more about the differences in the league now Ste.
We were blessed in the 90's with truly World Class players throughout the league. Not just us.
Cantona, Keane, Stam, Scholes, Becks, Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney, Rio, Vidic etc.
And then the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Zola, Di Canio etc.
The Scousers might have even had one or two themselves. Although i cant think of them! đ
But yhe fact remains the same - THIS Premier League isnt a patch on the 90's Premier League in terms of overall quality.
It. Just. Isnt.
Spot on about the quality of the league right now. Itâs awful and has been for a while. Makes you think where the Premier League would be without TV broadcasters scamming fans to make it by far the wealthiest league in the world
Ze Zerbi as EtH's assistant, Ok.

Onana
Bissaka Varane Martinez Dalot
Mainoo Amrabat Bruno
Amad Hojlund Garnacho

Lisandro Martinez returns, United get a clean sheet. Just saw the highlights, his contribution was there, he pulled back Brighton's number 9 leading to them losing a vital chance. He then flicked that shot to save a goal. I think Martinez is captain material, really has a great deal of influence. Casemiro - put him in midfield with Eriksen against City, just behind Fernandes...
Hopefully, even if United lose to City - they should do so fighting with grit. Let's face it, City will beat United... but -> United need to go down with honour.
Your thoughts on Baleba? I thought he was great yesterday, could be an option for us.
Didn't see the game, haven't seen highlights yet, but I agree with you Ste about Europe. A consolidation season with just domestic competition to worry about will be perfect at this time. Hard to know what will happen manager-wise, but Allegri being on the market with a stated ambition to manage in the Premier League might be interesting. We have finished 8th but without some of the stupid points we have dropped at the last gasp, we could easily have been 4th. Apart from the Cup Final which I don't expect us to win now we start the silly season of who is doing what and going where. I have some confidence (or do I mean hope?) that we may get our business done early for a change and that it will be sensible, but I really hate this time of year and am going to try and give as much of it as I can a stiff ignoring.
I think casmerio looked close to his best
it's the perfect set-up for a rebuild but honestly don't want EtH at the helm... i know a lot of fans think he's has something but i just don't see it... imagine if we beat the teams we were supposed to... great vid as always Ste... (-1 vs +23 GD and 18-6-14, 8th place is embarrassing)
You have to look at the wider context; three managers, three different levels of experience, three different styles, three different personalities, all achieved success and all experienced the dramatic drop in performances, where we went from optimism to utter dross overnight, with all three of them! Those three managers were sacked whilst the players were awarded bigger contracts. Is ETH the right man? God knows, but if they fire him, they just reinforcing the message to the players that no matter what they do, the manager will be the one who suffers; if we keep him, that symbolises change and tells them that their jobs arenât safe. Maybe then they wonât give up as soon as things get even remotely tough.
De zerbi? Bigger fool than i thought đ
Just skimmed through the comments... Wow! You know your channel's popular when you get slammed by the spammers đđđ
Yea ten hag should be safe
Even pep canât do anything if this same injury crisis happened to man city
Ten hag only fault was that he wasnât more bold and change tactics earlier
Should have went for amrabat and mainoo since beginning or used diallo earlier
He stuck with his favs for way too many games
Lmao, Chelsea 5 secs away from changing a manager was fu*king hilarious
I would love to see Graham Potter or De Zerbi as coach next year. Ten Hag must go. I feel the others could get more from what we have already.
12 out of 20 teams with negative goal difference
All we know is that there's going to a decision after the FA cup final concerning the manager's future at the club! That might be more crucial than the FA cup itself
It would do no harm whatsoever using a European competition to give youth experience and keep fringe players fit and sharp. Did Bayindir even get a match this season?
Mate football has evolved. There is less of a focus on individually brilliant players and more on coaching and team discipline to follow through with that coaching. Thatâs why Brighton and Villa and Leverkusen are causing upsets.
It look like MC tominay has the best seat to watch the game ..The fact that there are so many players better than him who cant make a living out of football is mindblowing.
McTominay CAPTAIN?!! City wouldn't touch a player like that. The amount of times he loses possession, goodness gracious me. How would he compare in assists per 90 mins and goals per 90 mins against teammates and rest of league midfielders? NOTHING about my club makes me sadder.
No European football gives us the opportunity to cut the deadwood with a smaller squad and use the next two summers to rebuild
Also means we will have next to no transfer budget because of ffp rules, so canât really cut the deadwood as weâll need them đą
all im waiting from the summer is that can/will we finally sell mctominay. some says he scores goals but ehm, not really, and he cant do anyhitng else with the ball. even if its 3vs1 attack and he is back against the goal he will try to shoot.
If Poch becomes available then thatâs a good shout imo
watched Pulisic last 2 weeks since Italian wind down has been shown is US..not a huge fan when he was in Premier b4, but ffs he is playing on the right and he looks to pass and follow up...more than anyone ManU have on that line...Would like to see more of Diallo also, he could grow into the position.
Regardless of whether we win or lose in the FA Cup, I am taking positively the silver lining from this season...that we need to make a major upgrade on our squad and push forward with the open surgery we have been talking about since last year. Very excited to see our young guys become the core of our team going forward with ETH at the helm. Looking forward to the upcoming transfer window too!
How can you compare Arsenals 2nd place to our second place.
We were 20 points behind them
6:55 Come on Ste, 89 pts isn't something to be sniffed at
Hojlund has to set himself up as no one passes to him mainly because no one apart from Fernandez has the skill to set him up that needs to change
A lack of European football could do us wonders. A chance to get some proper rest in between games
I am so glad that hojlund don't pass it to garnacho. Hojlund need to force ten hag hand. To choose him or garnacho. Just like Fergie choose cr7 over Rvn.
Villa going out to Olympiakos was a true measure of where the PL stands , this Season ...
Really canât understand how anyone can want the manager to stay. Other teams had injuries and not been as bad as weâve been.
Weâre Manchester United and weâve just finished *8th* and weâre saying give the manager another season? đ€Ż
Most losses ever
Out of CL group stages with Copenhagen and Galatasary
Worst position in PL history after 400milly spent so far
And constantly deflecting away from bad tactical decisions as if we canât see!
Got to go 100%. No once can convince me otherwise.
Standards never been this low.
I am probably being deluded but seeing Martinez and Varane back and Mainoo/Amad fit and Hojlund scoring and Dalot playing well on the left and Bruno back fit...I'm getting up to 20% chance Ste
Ste I think you might have been over the top saying the standard and the competition in the prem is crap and has been for a while. You could have been pissed that city just won four in a row but if you really think that Iâd like to hear of your thoughts in a full length video. Would also be nice to have a guest who could vouch for the other side I think itâs a really cool conversation
Great game second half, Dalot showed the selfish Garnacho what composure is, Hojlund 2 in 2 wow, Amrabat had the chance today to cement his place in the team but heâs gone after that nightmare performance.
Welcome back toâ Lichaâ, the departing R.Varane, Onana did well, Senior citizen J.Evans has been a great servant despite all the challenges this season. Ahmad didnât have a good game but didnât really put a foot wrong, Bruno was Bruno, Mainoo did ok but clearly heâs burnt out.
What a season drama, injuries, losses galore, weird pre-post game pressers from under fire ETH.FA Cup win or lose Ineos will decide his fate, hopefully New season weâll see some changes.
Itâs not confusing with Casemiro, heâs playing OUT OF POSITION. ETH literally was using Casemiro as a CB knowing thatâs not his best position, so when Man utd lose he can have an excuse to say âI donât have defendersâ.
He's been equally sh ite at CDM this season.
They haven't cheated on the pitch (maybe for the first time in Pep's career?), but the teams they've been able to field have come from cheating.
It really is gonna take a very long time for united to win the league, they will not do it in next 5 years, no chance,
And the longer it doesnt happen, the harder it is, just ask Arsenal, and Liverpool and United in the 70s and 80s
I think INEOS came in and told EtH to write this season off and prepare for next season.
It certainly explains why EtH was so stubbornly insistant on playing a type of football the players he had at his disposal aren't capable of playing well.
I say take the europa league and just use it as a testing ground for youth players/ weird or speculative tactics he might want to see eg players playing a new position.
@Ste, City have cheated 'on the pitch' though ....having the ability to have a squad so deep with quality (that therefore goes onto 'the pitch') has only be possible by them faking their books and sponsorships, etc. It's cheating.
So that Jack Grealish you bring on to change a game, instead would have been a youth player or a ÂŁ30m player, or youth team kids, etc.
It artificially inflates the squad to have top quality in every position. If Liverpool or United or Spurs for example did this, they could have had yet more top players to bring on themselves, instead of young kids or whatever.
As much as I hate to admit it, Liverpool would prob have won 2 more leagues as 1 point is easily surmountable if they could have brought on top quality replacements for the last 20 instead of lesser players or running your Salah's and Firminho's into the ground playing all 90+mins every week.
So, it IS cheating and should be seen as seriously as any other form of cheating.
Ten hag safe?
Yes , but only just.
He has the injury list, cup final and a decent finish to the season to protect him. With better recruitment, we could have a better squad overall next season.
Need to clear out 10 players this summer, that is the only way forward
Iâm glad itâs almost over. No worries about Europe, City handles us. Itâs now time for Ineos to actually prove something. Find some, smart, dedicated guys to get Rasmus the ball, shore up the defence and improvement is easy. Letâs see if the hype has validity.
Guaranteed not one player in this current squad will win a league with Man United, except for the young lads.
wtf was with Amrabat today, he'd gone right back to looking as shit as he did before Ten Hag dropped him
"Let's talk about Sofyan Amrabat..."
After all the money spent on transfer 8th position, what a shame
Bit naĂŻve to think they haven't cheated on the pitch there Ste. If they hadn't cooked the books, they wouldn't have been able to sign the players they did. And if they didn't sign all of the players they did, they wouldn't have won on the pitch. Not as may times as they have. That's for damn sure.
Isnt it more, they found issues with the books up until 2018, when they then wanted the books for 19/20/21 etc they said fuck off and stopped cooperating. So half the charges are for the post 18 non coooperation, but the other half are for cooking the books up until then. Which if found guilty of, likely are also guilty of in the years since but they chose to actively stop any investigation into it.
It was the Premier League that filed these charges, so there must be something to them
Wake me up when new season starts
Sign that striker that has 28 goals in 28 games in the Bundesliga in the season just ended. He has a 17,5mill release clause. Guirassy.
Hojlund literally only scores if he does it all himself would have had 20+ this season with a bit of service
No he shouldnât be. This season has aged me immensely. By every metric, the worst in the PL era
Licha played and what happened? Still conceded tons of shots and territory. Almost like individuals donât change the GLARING tactical issues present since August. Horrible coaching, horrible season, thank God itâs nearly over. Brighton btw, missed 8 first teamers today. Still dominated
How many have utd missed all season!

Lichen 1st start since Feb playing along side slow out of position Cas. Brighton have outplayed and possessed most teams.
Did not feel too bad throughout. UTD are no better than almost any team in that mid-table area this season, so to best Brighton after they played as well as they are wont to, injuries and all, is not bad. The false 9 idea was a good idea to calm the team and the opposition for the opening & followed by the change of pace with Hojlund in the 2nd half - as I had hoped, not to brag. UTD were not really out-chessed, but did enough.
Something like this concentration but much more inspired could be the performance of the season at Wembley, though it would be tough to top the Quarter Final Extra Time; remember, for most of that game the team were so second best, it was silly. Rash (who should not be with England in the summer - should be Gordon...) and those about to leave, need to REALLY show up.
That is about all that can be hoped for next week. Big shame that the Europa is the carrot coz UTD could do without it next year.
Well I commented on the last video and will say the same thing again
We should give time to ETH....see what is Arsenal doing know...few years back they were getting trolled that they will get relegated and what not ... but Arteta was given time and look at him now...I genuinely thing we should give him time ....even great sir Alex didn't won anything for his first 3 seasons
Arsenal have won nothing
@@alisohail5314 well true ... but look at their style of play.....they are joy to watch and they are pushing....and they are not winning because let's say they are Arsenal but if you gave him chance we will win .... but again as I said..only my opinion
â@alisohail5314 exactly I don't understand why arteta get so much praise
How can you imply that Ten Hag is of the same standard as Arteta and Ferguson. It was obvious to all they had what it takes, Ten Hag is a tactical genius supposedly, for 2 seasons we haven't seen any tactics.
@@mm2801 well my friend not praising him exactly...but you can clearly see the quality of football they are playing.....only city are better than them ..... I'm just stating the fact without being delusional
I've been waiting for this season to finally happen and pass. It Feels like the rock bottom before the turning point. We will win a major title 3 years from now maybe less if FFP plays a role
I donât think it makes any sense to say that the league isnât competitive because the bottom 3 have gone down but then also comment that the league is shit because the top teams have lost games.
I've been saying for years the standard of football has dropped. There's less quality players around. Look at international teams squads they used to be deep now there players that would have never got a cap now anyone can be an international footballer.
ETH team player bit better as the boys come back from injuries, season could've been a bit better if we had suffered less injuries
Bayindir should have played tonight
Forest survived with a record lowest points total in the EPL.
Against City we need to park the bus and hope for a miracle
Agree, the league is not competitive. The bigger clubs had their eyes on a super league as the ultimate cash cow. Can you imagine the rubbish we would have been served up in a league where the money flows to the owners.
the scousers scored 86 and conceded 41
i think casemiro and martinez might be good at the back. can we win FA cup and refused europa league?
Yes we can moan about injuries this season and of course we've had more than our fair share but lets just step back and remember we had a full strength squad when we lost and lost easily to Brighton and Brentford at the beginning of the season and we also had our full squad when we got butchered by Liverpool and City. Maybe we just need to hold up our hands and admit our top first 11 is still only a top 6 team at best.
We were awful in the first half, no pattern of play the result flatters us.
I donât think itâs just the premier league that doesnât have the quality, I think itâs football as a whole. Whatâs the reason though? Money? Over-coaching young players? Too many games? Probably a combination of all.
Can't wait to see joels tears on five lol
