Maybe do the clear coat on one side plate only. Film the comparison, then finish clear coating?
I like the center plate. It looks beyond beautiful. Not a fan of the brown leather. I’m more a fan of the black leather. Overall, I want that belt.

In noticing the entire line WRESTLING CHAMPION is a bit more compressed than the other 2 rows, especially around WRE, is that noticeable with the belt in hand?

much like you I am more partial to the Black looking Strap than the Brown n still may pick this up later on just to have it, I had my GroovyG put on a Black Strap with the Pre Buy Out Leather Cut just because I wanted to see how it'd look.
The ion font size isn't really noticable unless you're actively looking for it up close. I just got the V1 replica off eBay for under $270 and it looks really nice. I don't even notice the smaller ion font while it's hanging on my wall. Might consider polishing the plates but honestly i kinda like the tarnished matte finish. Makes it look more antique.
I believe the "ION" issue has been addressed. I ordered on the restock and it looks good!
Well I hope that 3 weeks later, I haven't missed the give-away since it's looks like WWE no longer sells this belt on its website at least in Canada, unfortunately. This is an awesome replica of my absolute favourite wrestling belt. I have yet to own any championship belt replica so that would be an amazing start. Anyway another excellent video review. This is definitely my go to channel when I want a belt review! Thank you!

Even though I grew up during the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression Era, I prefer the brown leather strap over the black strap. I know this is strange for someone like me to prefer the brown strap over the black strap but I do. There's not a lot of championship belts today with brown straps. The WWE North American Championship Belt has a brown strap. Maxwell Jacob Friedman's [MJF] version of the AEW World Championship Belt has a brown Burberry print strap. Are there any other modern championship belts from major wrestling companies that have a brown strap?
It’s not strange. I LOVE the Attitude Era, Appreciated the Ruthless Aggression Era, but I still say the Crumrine is the best Big Gold, hands down. I didn’t even like the Big Gold, AT ALL. When Booker-T brought it over. When HHH wore it-NEVER. However, Ric Flair’s Big Gold-YES! (In my Daniel Brian voice).
For the comparison video I say compare all as is, keep it fair, the comparison should be as how they arrive

@@tiredeals5020 just checked it isn’t on there only the WWE and WCW versions are. Also side note they are still selling the old gen 2 baby bleh winged eagle replica with the flat main plate and sidebars not attached lol. Not sure who wants that anymore with the 3 new one’s available

I wonder if WWE changed the lettering size for "ION" because it does not look as bad as the first pics that came out. I don't think most people will notice it unless its pointed out.

The fandu and Groovy are on loan. I may not have enough time to do a double set
For the price, it's perfect, but for a stickler like myself , the lettering and the size difference between the main plates would make me spend the extra money for a Luxe
The size and shape is actually more accurate on this one compared to the fandu. The Fandu is more sized like the wwe version of the BG

Would really like to know if you think this is the best affordable Crumrine replica under a thousand dollars or if you still think it's the Fandu Luxe?
I'm doing a 3 way review of this the Luxe and the Groovy g. That will provide more info as they all have their pros and cons
As far as artwork, the font on N in wrestling is off. I wouldn't care about that flaw for that price though.

Both have their pros and cons. I'll cover all in my 3 way comparison with the Luxe Fandu
I think the Groovy G looks phenomenal, that being said, people complain on how thin it feels, and its weight. I heard it sounds weird too. But besides CS, best looking IMO. The Shoprine is sweet, does look more like a toy though. Lets see how adding a clear coat does.

There are other replicas with far more noticeable flaws that have never been fixed
That's the one WWE belt that they made that did the font writing wrong. It's the small ION in the word CHAMPION.💀☠️

This has been I yhe works for a long time. It may have been during the time when Flair and WWE were at odds
@HazardF5 That is so true. They have gone back and forth. Love hate relationship Flair and WWE. No matter what, I want to get a Shoprine someday when it's back in stock. Then, I want to get an actual CS or Orm Crumrine.
