The '97 Sting theme was a great touch.

@HazardF5 honestly when I think of this belt, I always picture Sting with it anyway. I know he never held it as often. But, Sting was my favorite Heavyweight.
Sting is the first person I remember taking this belt off of Flair, so your shirt and intro music gave me great vibes. Great video!

The Crumrine and the Lavender Winged Eagle from WWEShop are definitely at the top of my belt wishlist. WWE has been killing it with replicas lately. The Fandu is a no go automatically for me over the tarnishing issue

The Fandu Luxe at the $800 price for the Dual Plated was on real leather with a vinyl backing. The Luxe Essentials in on faux leather, hence the $200 discounted price.

I absolutely just look staring at the Groovy G. It's definitely a shelf only replica. Which is why I don't get why the Fandu is so thick and heavy, because that's the most "bling" looking for a shelf. The Shoprine I see people taking off the shelf and holding it a lot more.

Presently I have the Fandu Lux and now the Groovy G dual plated belt. The Lux is a good custom big gold if your not looking for accuracy. The Groovy G though is really awesome and I love the silver rolls or veins in it just like the Crumrine. I still want the shoprine but even if the shoprine is out of stock for months I am happy with Groovy G belt for now.

That would be like comparing apples and oranges or an Olympic level athlete to a high school track athlete. I'll be doing a review on it but not a comparison as it wouldn't be a fair comparison. 2 completely different standards and price brackets
This. I've accepted the Shoprine as a suitable stand-in for the CS Premium. However, I'll always wish I still owned the latter and regret that I had to sell it. It is still by far the cream of the crop.

The wwe crumrine is the same one flair introduced in 86, that’s absolutely amazing
Like you said, it’s all preference, like me. I love the floppiness of my strap with the fake leather.
I got the Groovy G and its the only belt I've ever held let alone owned so my opinion may be unusual to seasoned belt veterans.
After watching this video I expected the belt to be paper light but I find it really nice and heavy, as I'd want it to be, way heavier than I expected. I'd probably be shocked to hold the Fandu.
Other things I noticed not mentioned in this video is that the gold 'plating' is not perfect and overruns a bit into the silver if you look closely at it.
Also that the nameplate screws are not exposed and you actually have to take some of the main screws off to access them behind the strap.
Overall its a nice belt, next step is to get some nameplates for it for my son and I to defend it against each other, and then a proper leather strap later down the line. Overall I am very happy with the Groovy G.
What's the price of a Groovy G? My Luxe was $800

Its in my latest community post. The lettering has been shrunk down so its all uniform. It's a shame the bottom ones weren't increased in size instead though, as the top rows were the correct/accurate size

i like the groovy g but $600 is a tad steep considering i was able to snag the WWE shop one for $376 (270 cause i had points from a cc)
Ok,now you should do a review on the c4 big gold.
No point in comparing that to these. Apples and oranges. I posted about the C4 on my community page on here, playing is incredible but the inaccuracies, like the shape of the mainnplate kill it. I would do a review but considering the gu who is behind it has blocked many for their comments and gone off on tangents based on my factual statements, I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't just falsely flag the video.
How hard would it be to take the plates off the WWE shop and put it on a Paul Martin strap? I didn’t realize the screws were covered

agree wholeheartedly.
I'm definitely in the minority for saying this but the crumrine big gold doesn't look good at all. The design on the plates is entirely too gaudy and makes it look like something from a rich person's jewelry box rather than a championship. However the wcw big gold championship from wwe shop with the flat center plate. Everything is perfect
When will the wwe shop version be available?
I think it will be on Euroshop/back up on WWE shop in a couple of months. They sold out very quickly, I actually grabbed 2 of the last 3 available at MITB in London a few weeks ago

It does have a curve. Similar to what yhe real one has around 95ish. It got flatter as time went on

Luckily it’s readily available now. I went with the Shoprine. On sale $342 delivered to my door.
I used to rate the Fandu Luxe but it makes me sick now looking at it. The shape is too off, and the general texture and details look too computerised and soulless, especially the lettering and its gappy background. Also the grapplers are too shallow and half-arsed.
The Groovy G looks the most authentic, looking at it hollistically. Its the most plausible attempt at the Big Gold I saw on TV in the 90s, including the colour (of the dual-plated one). The small stones are a tiny letdown.
The Shop one is very neat, almost too neat/ cartoonish, but has potential to resemble the Big Gold when it was in utterly perfect condition when Flair debuted in 1986 (especially after the clear coat), but the botched smaller letters are a deal breaker for me. It looks like someone squished it up to get the writing to fit on the plate when drawing it on the computer. Also the grappler looks like he's wearing an Air Max 97 on his front foot and a Croc on his back foot which I can't unsee.

Wow man I have to admit I’m very jelous. Had 15 belts 2 years and now I have none thanks to family issues.. would kill to have that fandu or shop. Anyways man very excellent video today keep it up. 🫡
