scale speed for that boat imo is approx 440 mph if it does 22 mph... to me the full size version would be around 25 foot ..i am guessing that toy boat is 15'' long...25 foot is 300 inches so divide 300 by 15 you get 20x ...20x 22 mph equals 440 mph...

Thanks 😊 Have you ever seen an Atomik Barbwire 2 rc boat? I think that one actually did go 30 mph. But, it spent so much time submerged and upside, if you went full throttle.

I buy my 'loose' 18650 batteries from IMR Batteries online for $5 to $8 depending on the amperage and mAh that you need. I've never had any issues with getting counterfeit batteries when I buy through them either which is good because apparently counterfeit 18650 batteries is a big problem these days.

Great review,but being a boat guy i wish you would have let us know if temps got hot on esc or motor using stock battery at all... Most decent rtr boats have potential to prop up and add a more powerful battery which greatly increases performance...not sure if this boat is being pushed to its max already or not...but it seems like a great little boat...thanks for sharing

Hello James, I am learning so much from your video's I was not sure how to contact you to ask a question that's why I'm using this platform. You, as I see it are the very best on these topics, RC, drones etc. James I am really trying to fly in head mode rather than headless, it seems backwards but I must learn this. Will you please make a video on flying in both and how it works?? Thanks my friend!!!!!!
Charles, I can’t fly headless mode, I have tried, that proves even more they should never put headless mode on a drone. It’s not that hard to learn the right way and if your learn the wrong way it’s even way harder to retrain your subconscious. It’s just a silly selling feature. You don’t see them in DJI, Autel’s or better drones. Sorry, but thanks so much for watching!
@@b4ugo James I know your correct, what a challenge, I use to buy and build Balsa rubber band powered planes, we would fly them at night under the street lights and watch the Bats chase them!! I was in my late teens/early twenties. 63 now still love night flying!!! If I can just start seeing this in a different light I will get it!!!
