Nice job Brother Karim, Quran alone has always been the straight path, one point I respectfully defer with is after the last Prophet has come and gone the next great event is the Qiama. There is no more golden age for Muslims we had you time or modern Science and Tec which has also has run its course and unfortunately it wasn't the Muslims who played a key role here, the point of regathering real Islam before the end is also a fulfilment of an Ayat where Islam will overcome even if unbelievers as averse is for the sake of salvation for the hereafter. Regarding the return of Prophet Isa, I think it is better to say God knows rather than outright deny it. There is enough evidence on both sides of the isle for this return IN the Quran.
Regarding his return IN the Quran, there are a number of thoughts:
1. He is mentioned to be a sign of the Hour.
2. You need to understand the definition of "Death" as it is explained in the Quran. Allah is free to take your soul and return it to you however many times he wants. It is only when he takes your soul and keeps it until the Day of Judgement is when your real "Death" occurs. For example the man who saw a dead city and thought it could never be brought back to life, only to be struck dead by God and brought back 100 years later. Also the sleepers in the cave as well as the person brought back to testify against Bani Israel murdering him.
3. It is also clear in the Quran whenever God takes a soul and returns it much later, the person or persons whose souls were taken think it has only been a day or part of a day. This means that if God did take Prophet Isa's soul and returns it thousands of years later, to Prophet Isa, it would appear as if only a day or part of a day has passed. He would have no knowledge of what people had been doing in his name while he was "up there".
4. Some questions arise when you compare Prophet Isa to the other Prophets mentioned in the Quran. For example, we know that Noah, Abraham, Lot, Saleh, Shuaib, were saved from Gods punishment along with the few who believed and followed Gods guidance through them. This is a recurring pattern, but Prophet Isa's story seems to be incomplete. He warned the people, and when they plotted to kill him, Allah told him that He would take his soul and raise him onto himself.
5. The sequence of events as depicted in the Quran are as follows:
5.a. Before the crucifixion, God told Isa "O Isa!, I will take your soul and raise you up to Me. I will purify you of the disbelievers. I will make those who follow you above those who did wrong until the Day of Judgement. THEN to Me is YOUR return and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differed". Why is God saying that Isa will return AFTER he his soul has already been taken and he has been raised onto Him? Also if God DID take his soul in death, then this means Isa knew when he was going to die in advance, something no one is supposed to know.
5.b. They said "We killed the Messiah, Isa, son of Mary, the messenger of God!" - and they 1. killed him Not, 2. nor did they crucify him, 3. but it seemed so to them...4. and they certainly did not kill him, 5. but rather, Allah raised him to Himself, and there is no one among the people of the Book except those who believe in him before his death and on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.
Now I know all of the counter arguments where people say that God is talking about the Quran in some of those verses and others who say that it is the agreement they were referring to in 3:154 but like all people with biases, people take verses that corroborate their point of view over others.
To me, since Prophet Isa is a sign of the hour (no, he is not the knowledge of the hour, a non-sensible statement), then his return is a TEST. A test for those who will be around when it happens, whenever it does. If God made it soo clear then what would be the point of the test? It's not so different from when God said that Pharaohs body will be preserved as a sign to come for a people. His body was recovered recently, so for more than a thousand years, people could only speculate what this sign actually was. Was it metaphorical? Was it his actual body being preserved somewhere? No one actually knew until his body was discovered at the end of the 19th century. It is the same with Prophet Isa. Time will tell.

The meaning of the kitab; how does it preserved?? From semantic slippage, from different understanding, etc.
To me the kitabs contain their own repository of all vocabulary with fixed context inside stories of nuh of yusuf of musa etc.
Ur reading of salabahu ie they did not crucify isa som could mean they did not know isa som lineage. Go check true meaning of salab, sulbi and its gern.
Ur reading of physical isa som being raised could mean his knowledge of ilm kitab being raised to Allah.

There were many rasuulan, there were rasul, there are many mursalin BUT there were 3 rasulullah.
1. 33/40,; n the voice of allah, muhammad rasulullah and ending of prphetHOOD, nabiyin. Not last prophet. There is nuance between prophethood and prophet.
2. 61/5, in the voice of musa; ANNI rasulullah ilaikum.
3. 61/6, in the voice of isa som; INNI rasulullah ilaikum.
A nabi teaches PREVIOUS kitab
A rasulullah delivers NEW KITAB.
isa som return as what?? Nabi??
Khataman nabiyin was muhammad.
Isa som return as rasulullah?? He brings new kitab?? Quran is the final revealation.

@@QuranInspiresMe You are right, I should not have used the word "evidence" in my opening statement. There is no evidence that Isa is returning. As far as the Quran is concerned, it does not deny nor claim that Prophet Isa is returning. I only intended to provide some thoughts, from verses in the Quran that can be interpreted to mean Prophet Isa can return. These same verses can also be interpreted to get to an understanding that Prophet Isa will not be returning. Hence why I think it is better to say, regarding the return of Prophet Isa, that God knows what will happen regarding him in the future.
When I read Quran 4:157-158 where it says "...they killed him not nor crucified him, but it seemed so to them...and they killed him not for a certainty! but rather God raised him to himself", it is strange that God would save Isa from their plan to kill Isa, by killing Isa Himself. Save him by killing him? Those that say that verse 158 is no longer talking about Isa but something else, I think is a stretch.

As salaamu alaikum. You have a problem with your argument. You claim that Isa (as) will not return because the Quran does not say it. Fair enough. But in Surah Maryam Chapter 19 verse 33 Isa (as) says Peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I DIE, and the day I will be raised back to life!” But in Surah An Nisa Chapter 4 verse 157 Allah says and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him-it was only made to appear so.1 Even those who argue for this ˹crucifixion˺ are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever-only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him. So since the Quran (Allah) clearly says they did not kill him and they did not crucify him, then what happened to Isa and when has he/will he die and be raised again?
