I'll never tire of seeing the interchange between I-8 and I-805. It impresses me everytime I see it, and I always make a point to drive through it whenever I pass through San Diego.
Nice work on the video, and I hope you enjoyed San Diego. I think it's a pretty nice freeway from a roadgeeks perspective.

4:58 pretty cool how 43rd street has a huge interchange. I believe it was made that way since another freeway known as SR-252 was supposed to be built here, However it never got built.

The ramps for the proposed CA 252 were completed in 1975, when Caltrans had official plans to build the freeway, but community opposition ultimately killed the project in 1980. The ramps are the only hints of what was supposed to be CA 252.

Interesting to note, I figured there was some kind of potential freeway there knowing Caltrans history. It seemed unlikely that such flyover ramps would be built for a simple surface street.
