This just saved me all sorts of trouble!!!! With a 10 hour drive from Michigan to MN ahead of us our power steering went out. Kid kicked the connector. I youtubed it and found this!!!!! Thank you so so so sooooooooo much for posting this!
Thank you for the video! Driving down the PA turnpike on the way home from Pittsburg with the family and dog and the electronics went haywire. Power steering gone among 5 other systems disabled. Called to get towed...$158...plus the hotel, uber, car rental etc. Held off and fortunately came across your video...both wiring harnesses must have gotten bumped by my feet and were completely out. Plugged them back in and everything back to normal. Your video saved the day as well as a lot of money!! Thank you!!!
THANK YOU for this video! My brand new Grand Cherokee has been at the dealership service station for over a week with no fix in sight. We just drove down to check, and sure enough, one of these harnesses is unplugged 🤦♀️
Wwwuuaaawww same thing happened to ours but our truck got fixed by itself. We turned it off came back like 30 minutes later turn it back on and everything was working fine I think that’s a glitch that is having, but I only have once to me.
This happened to me driving my wife and 1 year old back from vacation. Called my dealership this morning and they told me they cant service my car until the end of October! We need the car. I went out after seeing this and sure enough - I knocked the plug out with my feet. I plugged it back in and everything works but the check engine light and Automatic stop/start lights are on - how do I go about clearing those?
They will clear there self over time. 5 good trips. Or disconnect both batteries for 5mins or with a scan tool. There just stored codes at this point. Glad I could get you back on the road.
