Cranberry Sauce - Simple Ways

Cranberry Sauce 🎄
Episode 6 in my Simple Ways series. This is the absolute go to for every Christmas spread. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Serves 8
100g caster sugar
300g cranberries
100ml port
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Juice of 2 oranges
Zest of 1 orange
1 small cinnamon stick
1 star anise
Pinch of salt
50g unsalted butter
Method:
1. Make the sauce by putting all the ingredients, expect the butter, into a medium saucepan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes until thickened and glossy, stirring occasionally to prevent it from catching. Once cooked, mix in the cold butter. Check for sweetness levels & seasoning. If you would like it sweeter, simply add in more sugar.
