  • In this video, we begin the restoration of a 1981 Honda Passport C70 (Super Cub). We figure out why there is no spark, get it fixed, and then get the carburetor cleaned up and in running order!

    Interesting video . Came across your vid while looking for information on the C70 I picked up for a project . Not sure what year as the serial # on chassis is C70 KA . I’m a Newf retired in Thailand. Enjoying the vid and great information.

    Do they still put grease on the point cam ,and a couple drops of oil on the felt pad next to the points cam?

      Esperemos que esto de Google Translate funcione. No conozco ningún otro motor Honda pequeño de un solo cilindro que tenga una transmisión en el extremo inferior que pueda cambiarse para hacer esto. Su mejor oportunidad puede ser probar un motor del mercado de accesorios como el Lifan 125cc o 140cc, o tal vez tratar de obtener un kit de gran calibre para su motor original de 90cc.

    I have one a 1972 honda c70 yellow and white that I wanna get running really bad but I'm clueless when it comes to wiring and the whole center where the fascea over the handlebars is a birds nest of wires

      Pick up a shop manual, read lots of stuff online, and take lots of pictures if you start taking things apart so you can put it back together! We all start somewhere!

      @@blastworks I paid someone to fix it and we had a disagreement because he was taking months like 3 months to fix it and I wanted it back and he just destroyed the shit out of it I can't afford to take him to court so I'm just left looking at a heap of fuckery and it's a huge disappointment because it was passed down to me from my grandparents it was in fine condition it just needed a new carburetor from being tarnished with old gas and new tires. I took it as a loss and now I'll just do everything myself. Definitely will look into getting my hands on a shop manual

      Depends on the market! There's no demand where I am so I would probably get fuck all for it once I get it done.

      I won't be doing a rebuild of this motor as it is very low kms. There are other videos on my channel of me rebuilding single cylinder motorcycle motors which should help!

      @@edgaribanez8592 Depends on whether you are having issues or not. If mine had 90k on it, I'd very likely rebuild it with a new piston and rings.
