Hello Frank i sent you couple of emails and still waiting for a reply, Please drop me a line i need your expertise. Thanks
@@roccob9011 hey, I've not seen any of your emails. Reach out to me via DM on Instagram (@blastworksnl) and we can connect there!
Yes i did 185s conversion years ago put the 185 top end on.the 125 bottom end as it has 6 speed box the 185 only 5 speed
@@neilrobertson1345 I'd love to find a 125 bottom end to get 6 gears!
shit yeah!!! I just did my GL1200, thanks so jolly much for the instructional vid, it saved me a fortune!
i can not obtain 12 gauge unistrut here, only 14 gauge, for a 400 lbs 9 foot stuff elevator, would this be a risk versus 12 gauge?
Beautifull
Such a helpful vid thx, I’m sure it will be a similar execution for my GL1200
Great video, thanks! 🙏
When I do works like this first thing I do is to connect a heatlhy car.battery via jumpercables and then a charger
Hey when is the final video of the 81 C70 going to be uploaded? I am very excited to see the bike finished. I am in the process of restoring my 81 C70 aswell. Your videos have been a great help !! Can’t wait to see the finished product!!
It's in progress! I've been dragging my feet but rest assured, it is underway!
My friend I have 5 .6 volts in each yellow terminal you think my stator is ok ?
Sheesh, thanks for the great walk-through! Liked and subscribed, amazing work!!!
would this be applicable to a rebuild on the cb650 custom?
Music was amazing. It will now be the soundtrack in my mind whenever I'm out riding the amazing old girl
Wow, you’re so cool. You drink beer. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

this good video

Handy lift called. They want their design back!
Does the rope you put in the cylinders need to be cotton? Can other rope materials be used?
I wonder if two hoists can be used in parallel. Only putting 50% strain on each, having a redundant hoist and having two cables. Probably very hard to keep these hoists running in sync.
Bonjour. Où avez vous acheté vos courroies ? Merci d'avance
Nice job, Question----What is the distance from the center point of the legs to the PIVOT points,--- are all of the pivot points (8) distances the same? thank you
Applause, friend! I'm working on what looks to be identical except the Buffalo flavor and with short column. Do you have any idea what range of years they were made in that configuration? I see others (later, I imagine) with a full belt guard and what looks like OEM switch location in front of the quill rather than right on the motor, and many (guessing earlier) with only four-step pulleys. I don't know if there were any differences between the CA ands the US models other than the name on the casting, but as I say, yours certainly looks like mine, and I'm curious as to how old. Thanks for the very useful videos!
PS: very brave of you to weld up the smile holes in your table. I'm tempted, but think I'll pass cause I'm a scairt of pissing off the grain and making it useless rather than just ugly, hahaha!
Never mind, I found it---thank you sir!---- did you ever update the Air bag?
Great job with this project----it looks like the link expired, is their anyway you can repost the list of items with dimension again? --thank you
I also own a yellow c70. Owned it for 10 yrs. I noticed in your video that you said you had a manual to download. Cant seem to find it
Hey Roger! In this directory www.blastworks.net/manuals/ you will find a file named "Honda C70 Shopmanual.pdf". This is the one you want!
Would love to see a follow-up video on the lathe, pros and cons, and see it making something.
I will have to get to that. I've been flat out on it for the last couple years for sure, even doing some pool cue making!
You are apparently a professional builder if you got 1 of those fancy ass plywood cutters that you have to enter the cuts!! Holy crap man lol, but I’m implementing the basic structure that you built & totally red necking the rest lol
Fuck yeah baby! That's the only way to do it brother!
Great project very well explained. Merci
I just started Anodizing Aluminum scale model parts as home. This setup is very similar💯🤩
Great videos. I rebuilt a 1971 Honda 70M a few years ago and enjoy the hell out of it but is one part I cannot figure out how to install. It"s called a chain case gasket and it's OEM part number is 40591041000. I's a rubber piece that somehow is at the front of the drive chain and protects either the drive chain or the frae from interference by the drive chain. This part was used on a number of C 70, C 90, C 100, etc models but I cannot find a diagram showing where or how this rubber gasket/seal/? is assembled. Any ideas?
Did I miss seeing the link where you got your muffler from? Lots of potential ill fitting ones on eBay.
Where did you buy the rear plastic?

If you tear these carbs all the way down like that you always change the throttle shaft seals or youre going to put them back together and have a vacuum leak.
No issues since doing them.
I'm kinda disappointed you didn't change the cam seals too.
You should start a CZcams channel and do things your way on that channel!
@blastworks I meant no harm in my comment. But you obviously took offense to it, and i apologize. I'm sure it would have been informative to other viewers that don't know how to change them.
Should do the valve stem oil seals when you do the belts. As the belts have to come off again.
I did do them in a follow up video.
Absolutely brilliant video man thank you so much for showing all the details but skipping the boring parts. You just absolutely nailed this video out of the park. I'm thinking about getting this model as my first bike... And seeing it torn apart to this level of detail really helps me feel like I can wrap my hands around it. Thanks again man
Thanks a lot!
Mine is a 185 motor with a 125 carb to so this video was perfect
Thanks for checking it out!
I have the exact same lathe! Thank you for posting! There’s not much online about it.
Thanks for checking out my video!
Fired right up!! Doing my barn find now. 1981 GL1100 interstate barn find. Last ran in 2009. Runs now!! thanks
That's awesome to hear! Hopefully the old bike gives you as many miles of joy as mine has me!
Another question if you don't mind... what are the bearing dimensions? Looks like 1/2" w 2" od 3/4" id. Thank you. Hope you're enjoying the lift. I've got the legs done and starting on the bag plates/rails today.
I believe that's pretty much correct. I just made sure that the ID was snug on the bar I was using and that the OD fit into the channels that I made out of the 1x2!
Hi Blastworks, I got my 70 passport stared, idles great, give it gas and it bogs or wants to die. If I leave it idling it runs great, can’t get it to throttle? Any suggestions? Even though the carburetor is new, it’s after market and not sure if it’s still the carburetor.
Long time no see Larry! Could be jetting or slide needle position. If you didn't do any adjustments from stock on the new carb to the slide needle position washer, that would be my first point of investigation. Drop it down makes the mix more lean, raise it up makes it more rich.
would the be able to be done with nickle plated cast iron cookware?
Hey Buddy, A friend and i are rebuilding his Xl125s and have just found your videos! Great work! How did you wire up the bike to run without the battery or being in the frame?
can u give me favour were we can order this XL 125 carburator assembly pls, thanks if u can give me time your reply
My bike has the same exact crack on the chain cover screw hold.. great vid. Thanks!!
You posting the manual on your website is going to save me so much time and headache in the future. Thank you🙏🏼
Gotcha brotha!
That music u put in the breaks is sooo annoying i was not able to watch ur video ! Rethink ur musical choice
Any way to make it lower?
We'll leave that for homework!
Do you remember how easy it was to remove the neutral light switch from the gear box of it as mine is mangled and needs changing and is stuck in place
