A friend of mine was raped here in the UK when we were freshers. She barely stumbled home, still drunk, with her clothes all torn.
The police treated her like shit: they told her off for not having the 'original underwear' with her, even if she said they were torn off of her, they took her phone and computer for months, calling to question her about the stupidest things (were you a minor when this picture of you drinking was taken?) and interviewed her family in the rudest ways possible.
They, in the end, decided not to keep going with the investigation because the uber driver who drove them to the rapist's home before it happened said that she looked ''happy drunk'', so she must have asked for it/ wanted it.
The rapist even sent her a message apologizing to her (the fucking guts on this man) and they didn't see that as evidence but as proof of his good character.
Rape and sexual assault barely get reported because of this, it's a fucking joke.
Also, don't have sex with drunk people shouldn'ìt be as polarizing of a statement as it is.

They called upon a body language expert, and confirmed he was exhibiting all the tell tale signs of lying, and that I was telling the truth, but still, they wouldn’t take it to court. It’s not the fault of the officer who interviewed me, there was a man and woman and both of them were amazing, but the other officers who came to my house should have been given enough training to know how to handle evidence, they just seemed completely clueless, and the courts seem to not care about R-word or SA. I told my friend before going to the police and she said, “i support you, but honestly, there isn’t much of a point, it’s almost as if they don’t care, and the ones that do are under the thumb of the ones that don’t give a sh*t)!

He's been in the hospital for a few days now and today is the day Ethan takes him home. The vet gave shredder at most a year. It's very heartbreaking and so upsetting. 💔🙏

i might be in the minority but i liked a separate channel for highlights. It not only meant that it was easy to find (for me atleast) but also all together in one channel. it also got me to click on other highlights to relive the moment even tho ive already watched the podcast live everyday. Peace and love always
he explained on his members only live stream that youtube is apparently cracking down on highlights channels because it seems like they want all content to be under one channel. he said he's gonna test putting highlights on the main channel now but that there will be less of them and edited a little better.

Sounds like they don't have much choice with youtube cracking down on highlights channels. It would be better if youtube could verify that the highlights channel is owned by the creator and not being ripped off like the people who steal Hasan's content.
