I’m sorry but Zach deciding to confront AB on the show like that was completely uncalled for. He should’ve waited until after the live was over or discussed privately on discord. After the confrontation AB and Zach were unusually quiet and the whole vibe of the show just felt tense. It was even hard for me to focus knowing that they were beefing in the background. Zach needs to learn how to take a joke especially after they just spent a whole segment making fun of AB, especially for something that’s frankly an uncomfortable topic to air out on a live show with 40k+ viewers.

I think alot of people had too much smoke for Zach, we all have our own issues, I certainly do. Just because Zach had a privileged upbringing doesn't mean that he does not have problems like everyone else, and I think a bit more compassion is in order, he even opened up during the very same episode about him struggling with sleep and mental health (King). I could see myself being easily triggered in that situation, that's just normal.
Even among friends you sometimes have disagreements and miscommunication over silly things, the only thing that makes this dramatic is it being on camera.

THIS! I love the pod, but every time Zach starts speaking even *I* get tense out of fear of him lashing out at someone for no apparent reason. Ethan needs to talk to Zach about his temper (as an employee) or Zach needs to find a new job because, eventually, he’s gonna put an irreparable damper on the show’s dynamic - which is what makes it what it is.

Weirdly I'm not too shocked that Zach got extremely offended. He's always been very sensitive on the show and tends to get a little defensive. Like the whole "joker-brained" saga annoyed me LOL, he couldn't stand being perceived differently than he wanted. But I'd like to show him a little grace and say that it's tough to be on such a huge show and get judged for things like this. I mean, they guy isn't sleeping so he might be a bit off. Is Zach ok? Because that was pretty overly dramatic. The joke was not that serious at all - AB gets it every episode, and he goes with it with no problem. Probably an indication of how much each one has gone through in life?
I commented under another earlier but as someone who was feeling that way at 26 and stil feeling it at 30 because i havent sought help, no, I dont think he's okay. Its really easy to put on a smile and joke and laugh for a while, but it wears off and we wear our stress on our face at that point. I see a lot of my own issues in Zach and seeing the quick snap in someone else makes me sad.
