Ok I have replaced the alternator and found a bracket that has never been hooked up. Its the one that has the positive ground to the alternator connected to it. Where does it go? In the video when you are pointing at the bracket for the alternator itself the bracket on the wiring is what I'm talking about.

Hey I got a 2001 Maxima where the battery and brake light come on but it's not consistent. Sometimes it goes off sometimes it stays on. It can happen when I turn it can happen when I hit a bump sometimes accelerate it nothing consistent. Now as best I could I've checked the wiring physically I just don't want to have to go buy electronic tools just to fix this one problem. Alternators only a few years old I did put a new battery in only because my old battery was leaking at the post. My fuse looks good only found one it was good. It's obviously got to be a loose wire but I can't help the hell figure out which one it is any help would be appreciated
You should pay someone to figure out the issue. Find someone with good reviews near you. It will save you money in the long run.
