If your alternator is not charging and you want to know the number one reason why alternator is bad on a car and why the alternator does not charge your battery we will explain that in this video. We demonstrated why often an alternator will quit working, which will result into not charging the car battery and dead car battery. Alternator brushes are the number one reason that usually will cause alternator not to work. Another thing that can cause alternator not to charge the car battery could be bad alternator voltage regulator or blown alternator fuse. Here's an advice if you see the check Battery light is on. If you are still at home (near to your service guy) just go there. Your generator is dead. The fix is cheap, the trailer is not.
If you are driving during the night (as me) and the generator/alternator gone dead, you still have like 50km left, not a lot more. Call your friend to bring you a spare battery, or just swap the battery with his battery (if fits), drive along together to your next destination, home or service. If you have a lot of miles to drive, you can do the swap maybe one more time, because your battery is charged (a bit) in his car. We managed to do it, and I hope You will to. Good luck.

what if the alternator stops generating randomly, you might drive it and get to your destination with no problem, but it can stop generating while driving all of a sudden!

It happened to me the other day. I managed to get home, but I needed the car urgently for a thing I couldn't cancel. Long story short, the battery was completely drained and had no electronics at all. No headlights, no rpm info, no abs... The car shut down four times and had to push start to get home.
@@NikB123 Test if something drains your battery. Charge your battery and wait 2 days if it has drained and has low voltage, something has drained it; bad ground/bad wiring. If it drains during driving, it’s most likely a bad alternator.
Is that the same in heavy duty alternator?
If the oil filter cap breaks and spills all over the alternator, car dies and dont want to turn on since then. Should i replace the alternator? It shows low voltage on the battery as well so could it be that then? Because it doesn’t have so much power.
I have a 09 Murano and I see the oil looks like it was leaking the battery chargers but it started this morning then I go back out it doesn’t start we need answers brother

I have already installed two new alternators already and still dont get power from the alternator after turning the motor on. What the hell could it be ??
Check the alternator fuse

What u changed nw is a regulator all that knws about cars knw that but if de got cash de change complete thing
So my cars alternator’s undercharging what could be the problem and when I turn it off it kills the battery
