- I bring a bass sample created with Koala stems and the SP-404mkii into the new looper and play it chromatically. Just make perfect loop patterns on pads without having to stop the looper playback.

This sounds like some Wu-Tang type beat 🔥
🙏
I love to see people be genuinely stoked about their instruments! Loop was 🔥
Thank you for sharing! You don’t make the videos unnecessarily long and the way of showing the process is nice and clear. One point of feedback if I might: sometimes I can’t hear your voice that well
I'm telling you... This changes everything
The perfect marriage 😁💪🏽 good luck Akai 😁🤷🏾♂️
I just bought the koala sampler and im gonna order a SP-404mk2 right the f*ck now too and im not even kidding because this is just f*cking insane!!! Been watching video's about the 404 for some time now but THIS video just convinced me fully, thank you sir for uploading this!!!!!!!!!!!
same boat here and i received it 5 days ago but the more i use it the less i use koala haha
@@TheChameleon2008hahahah that does make sense to me, you can sample straight out of anything basically so way just stick to one thing only right? Idk if you’ve ever used stems though but just that possibility along with the 404 is just so sick, have used it with DJ’ing before and it’s just mindblowing!! Nevertheless, I still mainly keep using samples from my Splice library + sampling from a synth 😅😂
@@yedawg7970 Word, but why pay for splice when you can sample directly from the browser :) Unless you making money from the music then its totally understandable.
it's completely f🌟cking incomprehensible
Nice demo...the possibilities seem endless now.
crazy because they already seemed limitless before that update
A beastly combo!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing.
its like an all you can eat sampling buffet. Ive always had the SP404 mk2 on the radar but this latest update might have me pulling the trigger.
This is cool to know. When they get stem separation, they will be in the race. As far as the best SP model, the 404 mk2 is the best !!!!
Super cool!
can you seperate the stems after you record the loop? i guess not cause saving it goes to sample not a pattern right?
the stem separation is a koala thing not a sp thing
how can i have the stems separation for koala now?
you need to buy it to unlock it
@@TheChameleon2008 thx i had it but i gotta to load a sample to have the option
@@TheCircusp yea its a koala thing and not a sp thing. SP is just in controller mode when using koala so any sounds need to be moved over.
Things are getting interesting now 🤔
Which adapter do you use to connect your phone to the SP?
You need the iphone camera adapter strangely as it seems. Because you are transferring data. It needs to be the lightening to USB A camera adapter.
@@iamkeebz thanks, does it power the sp too or is the dc connected required?
Power adapter is required. It can (kinda) be powered by batteries in this mode but it will give you a popup about switching power every once in a while and drain the batteries quicker.
Alternatively, I also use a ripcord power cable and a battery bank. But it won’t power from the phone.
@@iamkeebz There really isn't a lot of knowledge out there about this stuff. thanks very much appreciated.
yo yo whats that app your using on your phone??? is it LK?? Been looking for an app like that for a while now
its called "koala sampler", I literally downloaded it like 5 minutes ago after seeing this vid. I had to pay 6 euros for it though
Koala Sampler
@@iamkeebz Thank youuuuu!
You been under a rock bro? Koala sampler the mobile sampling standard.
