- In this video, Mr Wilbert, Shane, and myself were sent to recover a tractor trailer loaded with 30,000lbs. The original call stated he needed winched out and repair an air line. As you will see in the video, it was a little more than that. Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching, don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE this video!

I know it might be a southern thing about you guys being so polite and sayin please ,etc. , but I gotta believe your Moms and Dads have to be real proud of the way they taught you . Great job , and stay safe . God Bless .
I'll tell you this. I was an over the road trucker for years. If anybody ever says that a tow driver doesn't have intelligence they are dead wrong. All of the things that a tow driver needs to know to be able to handle the big trucks and even the smaller vehicles: it just amazes me. It almost makes me feel stupid sometimes. To know all of the geometric decisions that have to be made... will this just plum amazing to me! You guys rock!🤟🤟🤟
That was a hard pull with the medium wrecker there alongside the 50ton for sure! As Ron always says.. small moves.. nothing jerky and she'll come right on out.. and thats exactly what you did.. kept the pulls short to keep control. Nice recovery and walk out from the crew.
"you cant ever charge enough...people dont knowhow much it costs to eun and maintain that equipment" boy if that isnt the truth! miserable muddy mess...i think i would really enjoy that work! very nice job mr. hal, mr. wilbert and mr shane!
This brings me back to the time I operated my wrecker in Canada. There are parts of the job that I really miss. The company I worked for 15 years ago still contacts me to come back. I am just getting a little to old to be rolling around under trucks. I understand why they use the cables as a divider but man do they make a mess of a truck when they run into it. When I was running a wrecker people always complained about cost. My answer to them was open yourself up a wrecker business and see what it would cost you to do the same work. These trucks do not run cheap and the cost is the cost.
What a mess, Gives new meaning to plowing the field...If it wasnt so muddy it would have gone a lot faster, Must have been a Wild ride.
Who needs a rotator..doin it this way for 40 years..good job
My that was a lot of work especially with all that mud. I would not want to see the bill. Thanks to all of you and please stay safe.
Another great job by the Sumter crew!!!!:
Mr. Hal,, we were struggling right along with guys. Thanks.
A shovel, potato rake, and manual labor for the win. Nice job sir!
Well done
That is one lucky driver, thank god the catch fence did it’s job or it could have been ugly. I hate that whole stretch from Dillion to Santee Cooper ESPECIALLY the part where 95 splits in the center going through them swamps. That’s some rough driving to me
Great work guy's professional on all levels.
One of your best videos. Love the heavy recovery videos.
WOWZERS! He sure made a mess of the roadway when he went on that cross median excursion! You are correct, He's LUCKY he DIDN'T flop er over!
That old boy almost laid his rig on it's side . That's some Great Team Work . Great Video .
that older 30 ton wrecker still has some mighty pulling power and doing it the old fashion way with plan old common sense brute strength and you are right people have no idear what it takes to run a business
I enjoy watching the old Peterbilt . You guys just tow and or have a repair shop also
Bad setback for the driver/owner but fortunately they had the calm and polite people from Sumter Wrecker to help them out. And thank you for making these videos.Keep safe.
