Thanks man, this was perfect. This is the first boss to give me grief on hard mode. The brumal form technique is so OP, it has helped me through a few battles already.
Thankyou made this fight trivial. Took me two tries because he kept killing yuffie but all is well now.
I think that the best part of your strategies is that its is quite simple to replicate and it hasn't the necessity of good physical skills by the player. I'm the kind of full time worker player who had few free hours to try several times the same stage. I'm very grateful for your videos bro! Thank you!

First time I've employed the Brumal Form strat and it is INCREDIBLE. Managed this one first try, but on the last attack Cloud and Yuffie died. Luckily, because I'd knocked the HP low enough it just sat there long enough for Aerith to get 1 ATB for Thundara and the win 😂
Thanks for the videos. FYI you can skip the rail gun sequence right after this fight by hitting options and skip.
After three attempts it had me pissed off enough, I'll give this a shot. Lol
I tried the Arcane/ATB Ward thing to start, but I didn't feel it did me any favors. Granted, I had Tifa instead of Yuffie. Wasn't thinking about that. How I'd set it up my plan was to spam Thundara/ga with Cloud and Aerith, but I just haven't been able to sustain ATB going into the second phase. Let alone replenish it so fast.
Never used Brumal Form, so don't really understand it. I guess that'll be my next set of searches for this game. It's rough without Genji Gloves, and I've been stubborn about not working toward them, but I might after this chapter. It kills me knowing the potential is there to do like 3-4x damage. Lol
Why is Tifa in my party instead of Yuffie?

This is disgusting. Im probably gonna have to plan this out accordingly for other Magic for the later bosses in chapter 13 when I get there.
As good as it was in the Outer Worlds Sim, this might just save some hassle for those who are definitely struggling on hard mode.

Haha, I wish! If I knew how to contact them, I'd beg them to introduce a Gambits system into part 3, lol. "Where ATB Ward, Yuffie does Brumal Form."
This strat about same as one of the brutal challenges I believe.
@@goodthings2life Think in a recent event the devs mentioned something of a command system for the AI. Hopefully they add it in part 3 where we don’t need a specific materia for them to do their unique commands
Are all your strategies for hard mode using items you get from completing hard mode?
This is my first time going through hard mode, anything i have currently can be gotten before the Hard Story playthrough
@@Optinooby I think they're talking about the Genji Gloves. You have to have played some hard mode to have those. Did you jump to Chapter 13 to get the materials?
