The sequel to "My Home New Jersey" by Paul Czekaj. More great things to see and places to go in the great Garden State.
Yes, I am Jersey Girl Forever!!! Born and Raised and probably will never leave!!!!
Grew up and lived in NJ for 63 yrs now live in PA, Jersey will always be #1 I miss it every day
Born and raised in Jersey. A few things I miss. And a few things I don't. But I do miss Pork Roll, real Jersey pizza, and the shore. Thank you Paul. I saved this song to play when I am down and miss home
I bet you don't miss the state income and sales taxes.
I'm glad you liked my music video. Please check out my other Jersey videos called" My Home New Jersey" part 1. There's tons of places and things about Jersey past and present. Also "At The Beach". 95% of the pictures were taken (Down the Jersey shore), and "Even Better Than Before" is about Hurricane Sandy. My newest is "THAT OLD NEW JERSEY". It has many great places that use to be in New Jersey. Please share my videos with your friends. Thanks Paul Czekaj
Was born in Newark and raised in Belleville. Then lived almost 30 years in South Jersey right outside of Atlantic City. Moved to Florida in 2012 and while I don't miss the snow or the cold (and never will), there are MANY things that I DO miss about Jersey. No matter where I hang my hat, I'll ALWAYS consider The Garden State my Home. :)
New Jersey is a great place to be from! Left NJ for college in New Mexico and only went back twice. Still I am so proud to be a Jersey girl!
Born and raised in Dover, Morris County. Or as we say when asked the placement of Dover. Answer always given. Miles from George Washington bridge. "Dover. 31 miles from the George Washington Bridge. "
Thanks Paul, love your songs and videos. I now live in Phoenix Arizona, but Dover is always in my heart❤
Great video! Loved it! I grew up in NJ and later returned for 48 more very happy years as it is a great state in which to raise children - great schools, wonderful sports teams and scouting programs for them with wonderful volunteers who support these programs after a full day of work and commute from NYC, lovely churches, great small towns with many opportunities for volunteer work, good shopping, etc. Your own attitudes dictate how you feel about this wonderful state. It is sorely in need of a new governor, however, who is honest, cares about NJ citizens, good education and public services and wants what is best for the state and not just the pockets of his friends and his personal ambitions!
Thanks so much for this wonderful video and song. I lived most of my life in Jersey. Moved to Texas and then Florida due to the cost of living in Jersey but I miss it so much. Every. Single. Day. Thanks again.
I'm glad you enjoyed it Karen, Please check out my others videos about New Jersey. #1 My Home New Jersey part !.#2 Even better than Before, and #3. my latest That Old New Jersey. I think you'll like them too. Just go to you tube and type in my name. My new album with the songs will be out in a few weeks. Look on my music site for it. www.essexmorris.com/music Thanks Paul
Jersey and proud. Well done, Paul.
West Orange boy. Left Jersey 34 years ago...still miss the Delaware Water Gap area, nothing in the world as beautiful.
Geat web site...thanks
NEW JERSEY... It's not just a STATE... It's an ATTITUDE!
ONE POWERFUL LITTLE STATE … DON'T MESS WITH, NJ!!
Noo Joisey is one third the population of Texas, one quarter of California...that isn't *_"little"._*
@@joeskeptical4762 New Jersey is NOT my home!! Check out New Mexico!! 🏜🏜🏜
Oh yeah. Great music playing. Great state.
Born and raised in South Jersey. Schooled at Stevens. I miss home. I'll be at Cow town in 2 weeks. Hope for a real cheese steak and some sticky buns.
I haven't been home since 2001. I am always homesick. This #2 was better than #1. I love them both. I spent the first 52 years of my life as a "Joisee Boi". What a fine tribute to the State I love.
Thank you, Paul.
What a great tribute to the state we all know and love!! Thanks Paul!
I think now that Sandy came along, I will cherish these pic's even more. I live in Minnesota but my heart will always b in JERSEY!
Thanks so much for the wonderful memories! I now live in South Carolina and nothing is ever or will ever match NJ!
really? Donna you need to get out more if nothing can match NJ I was just there and could not believe my eyes and of course the herion overdose before I arrived sorry Jersey is no fun my friends were all crying over their dead kids from drugs I could not get out of there fast enough!!!
Linda Tohara Linda, I'm very sorry that your friends lost their children, but that is not the fault of New Jersey.
This video shows the wonderful places in the state and since I grew up during the time period that this video portrays, it brought back memories of finer times and places. As for my comment about nothing matching NJ, it is my home and I love and miss it very much.
I have been out a lot and to many places, and there are many more beautiful places, but NJ will always be my home!
Lived most of my life in NJ, and somehow I miss the Garden State. Many fond memories while watching this video, and will be looking for a sequel. For those of you who never lived in NJ, you missed something. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.
Yahoo. I was born in Holy name Hospital, Teaneck 70 years ago. Live my youth in Haworth and most of my adult life in Hackensack. Worked in NJ Bell. It is the greatest!!!!!
Grew up in North Bergen, living in South Jersey most of my life - music and scenery brings back lots of memories. When I mentioned Italian Hot Dogs in Cherry Hill they didn't believe there was such a thing! Marlton is home now - less than an hour from LBI! Fun music and video.
Thanks so much for the great video of the great state of New Jersey. I'm born and raised in Riverside section of Paterson. I've lived in SW Florida for over forty years. "You can take the man out of 'Jersey' but you CAN'T take all of Jersey out of the man". I remember spending my early summers in Atlantic City, then, in1952, to Wildwood. Later, many summer week ends at Lake Hopatcong and along the Passaic River in Mountain View (Wayne) across the river from Singack. Thanks for the memories
Great beat, easy to dance to, I'll give it a big 9 +
Love from the "Top of New Jersey". Glad I'm not the only one who loves Jersey.
I just loved this video Paul. I was born and raised in NJ but now reside in KS. Just watching all the places you represented bought back many memories, especially Parsippany where I grow up. Now I am going to watch Part !. Thanks for the entertainment.
As a NJ expat living in the midweat, loved this video. No matter where you go and meet another Jerseian you can manage several subjects at the same time and connect.Peg
This is great, I made New Jersey my home in 1979, and it was the best thing I ever did.
Thanks for this video
I left NJ in 1998 and it was the best thing I ever did.
Got close to where I was born and raised. Rockaway NJ. I loved both videos.
the video is so true. sooo many places to see here in our new jersey
I live in Ohio now, but was born and raised in Bergen County.
Great video. Shows New Jersey in a positive light for a change.
My wife is from Jersey, and i lived there for a few years. Wonderful place.
I live in California now, but growing up in New Jersey was one of the best experiences anyone could ask for! Great people, food, traditions and more. Think I saw some taylor ham in there too if I'm not mistaken haha! Go Jersey! Great song and video!
Cant wait to move back to Jersey. Thanks for great videos and music about Jersey. NJ is my home, goodbye Alabama.
Well done from a born and raised Jersey Gal.
Thanks Doris, Please check out "My Home New Jersey" part l and some of my other videos. All the photos and video's for "At the Beach", and "Even Better than Before" were taken (Down the Jersey Shore).
Loved, loved, loved This~Thanks-Very Much! Jersey was where my daddy & step-mom lived when I was a kid. Mother lived in rural PA. Starting at age 8 I got to go visit daddy & that first time he lived in (? having a "senior moment"), but next visit he lived in Clifton! At age 11 I attended P.S. # 5 on Valley Rd., then Woodrow Wilson Middle School, the very first yr. it opened. Next he put me in an Orphanage & I attended Eastside High-Paterson; then Fairlawn High for 2nd half of 10th grade-1958.
Great music too.
Fantastic!!!!
Thanks for more memories

my Mom did not often send videos to me; but this video happen to be one that she did email me... I received that email 16 days before she passed away suddenly. It shows that NJ was still deeply Loved by her, even during your last days on this Earth. Thank you for making and sharing this video. I will keep it forever, both in my heart and in my mind; as I do my Mom.
Grew up in Rahway, and I have to say I've been to every one of the places represented here. Moved away 100 years ago, now in Georgia. Many many friends and lots of family still there. Miss the food... Great job Paul!
+rel2099 If there's one thing people miss about New Jersey is the food. My brother moved to No. Carolina a few years ago and I always have to bring him "REAL" Italian bread, Bagels, and Taylor ham when I visit him. Check out my new video called "THAT OLD NEW JERSEY".
I imagine you could create a dozen videos on New Jersey and still not run out of interesting locations and facts. Personally, I hope you do. Realistically, I suppose you won't. So I will appreciate these two all the more. Love it. Thank you for your time and efforts. ~Christina from NJ, now in NC
I loved both parts. I was born in NJ in 1948, lived there the first half of my life. Great pictures and you even got my hometown on there. The song was good too.
great memories for a SC transplant! Don't miss the winters.
I love this one too! Good job! NJ ROCKS!
I'm glad you liked my music video. Please check out my other Jersey videos called "At The Beach". 95% of the pictures were taken (Down the Jersey shore), and "Even Better Than Before" is about Hurricane Sandy. @@PaulCzekaj Hey, Paul. I grew up in Hackensack and lived all over Bergen County. I spent 16 years in Landing by Lake Hopatcong. I'm now in Charlotte NC and I miss NJ every day.
I am a Jersey Girl Some of my family have lived in the state since the early 1700's and I just loved the song and views from our often undervalued State. I just wish you had included Greenwich Piers , NJ where we had a Tea Burning about the same time as the Boston Tea Party. It is such a tiny and unknown place! But, as you said you just cant include everything!
LOVED IT! THank you!
I grew up in Hopatcong! Live in Valencia CA and still go back every summer to visit family and go to the shore! Nothing like it! Thanks for sharing!
Love it! Have lived in FL for 32 years. NJ will always be home. No place like it. CALDWELL!
Thanks for the memories, Paul!

Wow.!! I'm so glad you saw all the flags waving in front of your school. I wanted to have that scene in My Home New Jersey part l but the video I took last year came out bad. While driving by this year and stopped to film it again. It's wonderful what your school does in memory of all the soldiers that gave there lives for our country so we can live free. Please tell all your friends & Principal in school to watch both NJ video's. Also check out I wish the war would end on youtube by Paul Czekaj.

I grew up in Clark New Jersey. Moved to Texas in 1978 and now call Texas home! Had a lot of found memories growing up in the Garden State! If you all would vote for a Republican President I might one day move back. God bless you all.. Matt
we need more help than that! and now we have this clown Murphy running the state into the ground further, if thats possible!
LOVED IT! Living in CA now. Born Passaic, lived in East Patterson, Wallington and Paramus!
Miss Jewish rye, NYC, and Joisey accents!
Everyone forgets about Wallington, our little Polish town that everyone gets lost in.

In part one there's a video photo or mention of Lucy the Elephant Margate, Franks boat rentals Strathmere, Cape May, The Garden State Parkway, Stone Harbor, Battle Ship N J Camden, Wildwood, Atlantic City, Sea Isle city. Avalon, the N J turnpike Etc. In part ll there's Cowtown Rodeo Pilegrove, Historic Cold Spring Village Cape May,The Jersey Devil, Pine Barrens, Rowen University, Ocean City, The Aquarium in Camden. Great Jersey flick! Wish it slowed down a little so I could get a better look at the scenes/signs.
Can't wait for number 3 !
Rosenhayn, New Jersey. South Jersey👍😜
Love New Jersey. Don't know of any state, that I want to live in! But, New Jersey. I live in the North across from NY City. But, would love to live "Down the shore"

Great job on the video. I move here from VA 25 years ago and have learned to love this state, culture shock at first. Lol!!! But I truly love NJ!
+Sofaman NJ You like paying those high taxes I guess.
Awesome production Paul, definitely award winning video********** "GOOD LUCK"
Thanks for leaving out Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport.
Love love love your video. Lived for many years in New Jersey now in the Seattle Area.
Spent Summers at Long Beach Island as a child and spent time at the Stone Pony and Manasquan in my twenties. No place like New Jersey. Thanks Paul.
I want to ask all of them how proud they are of their home states property taxes and auto insurance. They are amongst the highest in the USA and that's a fact. Not to mention a toll booth every mile. You can have it!!!
How funny - I've been to or lived in most of those towns. You even had Pechter's Bakery where my Mom worked for quite a few years. I'm going looking for part I and look forward to part III
Great Job!
Thank you for all the shout-outs to places in Hunterdon County, my home county!
seashoreali, Glad you enjoyed My Home New Jersey part ll. If you watch My Home New Jersey part l you will see I mention about going on the rides in Wildwood and Seaside Heights. Check it out.!!!! I used to Vacation at Stone Harbor as a kid. We could see the lights of Wildwood from our bungalow. Our parents would take there at night to go on all the rides. I have a lot of great memories crabbing and fishing from a floating dock in back of the house we stayed at. Paul
I left NNJ in 1994. Miss it. People and food. Colorado for now.
Keep up the good work, Paul. I'll be looking out for that Part III video.
Those that love Jersey never lived anywhere else ..
Paul, thank you man, great job, both parts.
And to those mentioning things they think are not covered, get over it!
NJ's too big for a feature film, never mind two five-minute videos.
- Born & raised in Passaic
No place rocks like Jersey rocks.
I watched his first video and it included Atlantic City. I enjoyed that video a lot.
Thanks Jerseygal01, I'm happy you enjoyed my new video. And yes there were many things I wanted to include but couldn't in just a 4 minute song. I tried to get a little bit from every part of the state. I know many people will feel that their part wasn't represented enough but I did the best I could with my little video camera. Having to take "ALL' The footage myself was very time consuming task. Then it all had to be edited, plus the recording of the new words and music.Spread the word. Paul
Great video. Saw my little home town of High Bridge so you really covered things good. It shows how much NJ has to offer and shows the pride people have . WTG
I'm glad you enjoyed the song/video Jane. I tried to get in as many towns as I could. My work takes me through High Bridge some times. I always have my camera with me and snapped a picture. Please share the video with all your friends from High Bridge. Check out some of my other videos by going to you tube and typing in my name. There's some more video's that are Jersey related.
I'll surely pass it along
I'm glad you liked my video's.I'm writing down all the suggestions people are giving me for part lll. It will be a while until that happens thou. They cost a lot of money and time to do. Since people liked the song so much I thought I would have sold more copies of my new album called "Young and Free" that My Home New Jersey is on. It's available on i tunes, Amazon, & C D baby. You can hear samples of all my songs on those sites. My songs sound like there from the 60's.Please check them out.
Raised in Maywood, NJ. Way back when! Never even showed a town sign! Wondering if the Jenkinson's part of the NJ shore is still there, after Hurricane Sandy. So much was destroyed. :(
Love it!
Land of Make Believe! Oh man I love that place
That was great Paul...but I agree with judson, Ringwood for it's scenery and traquil setting has a very rich history.
But still a nice job! Looking forward to the next video.
+Constance Mc Hugh I'm glad you enjoyed the video. You can only get so much in a 3 minute song. Check out My Home New Jersey part 1. I have other videos about New Jersey if you type in my name on you tube you can watch them. I'm coming out with another music/video about New Jersey very soon. It's called "THAT OLD NEW JERSEY". In hope to have it out by Thanksgiving 2015.
Born, raised, worked, and lived in NJ for 60 years....retiring in NJ is impossible (unless you want to eat dog food) Now in Nevada with 1/3 of the real estate tax, no State Income tax, no hurricanes or blizzards, and you're allowed to carry a firearm for your own protection. Still miss some of the people we left behind - but now living the good (and affordable) life.
Great video! Keep 'em coming ... Manalapan, NJ
Never leaving NJ!
Thanks, Pau
Jersey is a expensive state to live in. Especially if only one income coming in. But other than that Jersey is home & ya gotta love it !
I'm glad you liked my music video. Please check out my other Jersey videos called" My Home New Jersey" part 2. There's tons of places and things about Jersey past and present. Great work! Wanna have part 3 showing all the snow in various towns! Sounds like a great sequal! Getting jersey weather now in NC!
I'm glad you liked the video/song It sounds like you have some great memories of N J. I vacationed in Stone Harbor as a kid and could see the lights of Wildwood from my window. My Mom & Dad would take us there to go on the rides. I also would go to Lake Hopatcong and go to Bertrands Island and go on that old roller coaster. Some other favorite spots of mine were Olympic Park In Irvington, and Palisades Park in Bergen Co. Check out My Home N J part 1 to see many more places you'll remember.
loved it
I was at Jimmy Buffs in West Orange a couple weeks ago and had a double Italian sausage with the works.(You know what that means if your from Jersey). It tasted great with a cold root beer. The owners name is Big Dog. He's been running the place for years. His son opened a place in Randolph last year. I also was at Star Tavern in Orange for a plain thin crust Pizza. It has a taste like no other. My brother -in law was there a while back and saw Yogi Berra eating Pizza with his family. Paul
Patty, I'm glad you liked it. I hope you saw a lot of places that you know. Thanks for helping me get the word out that the video is up. Maybe it will be as popular as My Home New Jersey part l. Paul
born in Neptune, lived in Milltown for 60 years, retired to Florida.
Didn't Yogi say about The Star Tavern..."Nobody goes there anymore..it's too crowded"
Very clever. I like it!
You were batting 1000 til you included Rt.22 !!!!!!!! LOL! But thanks for Somerville, Lake Hopatcong, Long Beach Island, and Raritan
Fun stuff. Thanks again.
Awesome!! Need to share!!
They showed my exit, 117! Keyport waterfront has a few nice restaurants near the waterfront...

What about the bottom half of the state!!! Vineland, largest city in square miles in the state!! Home of Progresso Soups and were Welch's Grape Juice started... If it wasn't for S. Jersey and all the farms, there would be no reason to call it the "Garden State"....
Paul: I haven't seen your first Video. All I can say is you do great work. No complaints. In case you didn't know, the Memroial Statues in Newark's Miltary Park and the seated statue of Presient Lincon in fron of the Essex County Court house were done by that famous sculptor who did Mount Rushmore. Can't wait to see more of your work. Bud (like in the beer). I'm a Ballentine fan. Then, there's also PON (Pride Of Newark-1930s)
