Reservoirs in the Sea Level Gun Chambers Needles Isle of Wight

  • Ground water gushing from a fissure in the chalk rock and filling 3 reservoirs cut into the rock. At the moment, the reservoirs are unusually overflowing with water and have become flooded, with the water level reaching the roof of each cistern chamber and flooding up the passageway. This is part of the sea level gun chambers cut into the north side of the chalk cliffs slightly to the east of the Needles rocks and connected by passageways.

    These videos are really really cool.❤ it would be so cool to see a camera go down there or something. I can imagine that the water would be really cold.
