40 year Lynch fan here. I've got the same guitar and first thing I did was change out the pickups. The '78 model has no business in this signature guitar. I fitted it with a signature Screamin' Demon at the bridge and an ESP SS-120. The neck is also a 12" radius so it's nowhere near the flatness of a Lynch guitar which the Kamikaze he uses has a 16" radius. The screws on the bridge are not titanium, they are stainless steel but you can get a titanium set from FUTONE for about 50 bucks if you wanted. I added a 37mm Floyd Rose fat brass block to the bridge and it made a huge difference in tone and sustain..

Dinky bodies are like 3/4 the size of a standard strat sized body so yea a Charvel, Jackson, warmouth they’re gonna be smaller
The custom shop version uses a maple body and its damm heavy. Well the Kamikaze 1 does from Japan. I have one. The LTD eagle is using alder.
I believe the 1000SE is the 'stainless edition' of the 1000. Just has the corrosion resistant bits.
