Why do summer Fly headgear have a metal belt boucle and other ones have the plastic clip like Winning?

Hi, how about the cheek head guard from fly? I had the winning but it closed my breathing from the nose because it pushed on it. Have you tried the fly cheek head guard?Thanks

Super bar X is made of faux leather instead of real leather, functionally the exact same headgear for half the price.
Got my nose broken with that rival headgear a weekk ago. I didnt see the left uppercut coming may have been blind spot. Head feels like a big target,Ima invest in the fly facebar to match my fly x gloves when i go back to sparrimg. I baught them cuz of your reviews. I really like the feel, But for some reason they feel a bit tight and i have pretty small hands and wrists do you feel the same?.. best channel on yt keep it up bro

, my thinking has always been my headguards are not any part of my defence - hands and head movement are much better than testing any headguard

yes on facebar headguards the uppercut is a shot to be massively aware of as the bar restricts the ability to see them somewhat

Good review as always! I am still rocking my Reyes Mexican style headgear, but I really want to get that FLY headgear; it really looks superb.
I sparred so many rounds in my Reyes headguard it was so good for so long I liked the angular shape very good headguard
Hows the reyes vision compared to the rival. Are you guys talking about the latest reyes edidtion or the classic
@@Fit2Box Indeed, it is wonderfully constructed headgear; it smells just like the glove too. A classic always!
@@erickestrada1212 I have the non-face bar version “Mexican style” and I can only compare it to my amateur ringside headgear. The Reyes fits much nicer and uses the latex foam, which does a really good job absorbing those hard shots that get through.
You’ll have to consult Fit2Box about the Rival headgear. Although I own a pair of RS100 16 oz gloves, and if the quality is similar, I’m sure it is a great head guard!

That's a comprehensive victory. However, as much as I don't like the Rival brand, for under £100 it's still a quality item of kit & the Fly falls into the catchment of pro boxers or the rich.

What’s the typical weight for a facesaver headgear? I know Fly is usually 14oz, and TopBoxer is usually 24oz. But is the Rival one heavier than average? Or is 22oz normal?
22oz is heavy compared to winning / fly

The Winning and Fly ones are great, but the person I know looking to get one can’t afford them, unfortunately :/

Honestly I have used a headguard for so long I do prefer a headguard but I can see why people prefer not to wear one , you can’t beat the vision and smaller target of a headguard less head
But how small this fly is it’s the next best thing for me
@@Fit2Box one more thing if I used to have to use a head guard it had to be a full open face one which type of head guard do you prefer what style
@@bigunfromwigun4874 again I have used full face ones for years (as I worked in a bank and couldn’t really turn up with a marked up face all the time) so I’m super comfortable in full face but it wouldn’t bother me to not wear one but as I train a lot of people no need in me getting bruised up so I just still wear my full face - I do know boxers who cannot get on with the bar and the restricted vision
