I just finished a defensive driving course in order to reduce our insurance rates, though we are ticket and accident free. I actually found the course helpful and saw how I could improve and be a safer driver. The takeaways are: Most drivers are "unconsciously incompetent". It reinforces the need to expect the other driver to do something really stupid. I find they are pretty easy to spot and try to stay out of their way. Aggressive driving has a much broader definition than I thought. Finally, I have to work on my reaction to when people do something stupid. I'm much better, but still need to improve. I don't have to win even if I'm right, I just need to let it go. That's especially important with the number of crazies out there who may be armed.

That vehicle in front had just merged in. I was curious how much time was between the cammer and the one in front before the left car merged quickly in. Looks like 2 seconds. That's short. Now there is about a one second gap. 4 seconds pass when the car head brake lights lit up. It doesn't look like the cammer had backed off any distance at all. When some car cuts into your lane, is 4 seconds enough time to reacquire a safe distance with reasonable braking? Maybe. Other thought. Brake check scam.

It doesn't look that fast, but there's 220 m between the sign that reaches the right edge of shot at 4:23 and the one that does so at 4:29. 120 km/h is 75 mph. The speed limit sign at the beginning of that block is 50.
I don't think he did. You can see that the lights from the other cars are illumining the road in front of them. There is no road illumination in front of the cammer. I guess it's possible the truck driver didn't notice the cammer or based on normal traffic speed thought there was time to cross.

I don’t get why when someone has a blinker on and theres is mostly enough room people don’t just let off the throttle a tad and let them in. The ego of people is unreal sometimes. Like speeding up to close the gap and causing an accident when if they hadn’t it would have been perfectly fine
