3:00 I don't think the video will make any difference. The car in front of you was aware of what was happening in front of them and was able to stop in time. You were not aware of your surroundings and rammed into the car that had safely stopped.
And he did it without even touching his brakes too.
Exactly. This video doesn’t exonerate the cammer at all. It only proves they weren’t paying attention.
Yeah, the video proves the cammer's 100% liability. Nothing he could do? How about a) paying attention and b) keeping a safe distance?
Yeah, no, the video won’t help at all. He’ll still be getting cited. I hope. Because he should have been leaving enough time to stop. And to be honest, it seems like he had enough time to stop from the video. But I do know that dashcams sometimes distort the actual distance.
@@spychopathjumping the curb looks like a safe option too, this time.
@2:50 Cammer, that was totally your fault, quit trying to blame others for your incompetence. I will bet everything I have that you were looking at your phone and not what was going on around you.

"Nothing I could do." ...except pay attention to the road instead. That's the reality.

Very much your fault.
Yeah right.
I think they were going for the left turn lanes, but at a snail’s pace
3:00 I can't even begin to understand the logic / brain this guy have to send this clip on the internet and think people would side with him. Insane

@@cmgeorge12 It's worse than the wrong lane. She straddles both lanes, giving traffic coming up behind her nowhere to go. If cammer hadn't been the one to submit the clip, i would have suspected insurance fraud.
3:02 “There was nothing I could do” You could have paid attention and accepted responsibility instead of behaving like a child. The other two cars had nothing to do with you failing to pay attention.
the a hole actually speeds up. No brakes whatsoever
Even if he was paying attention, I counted one second between him and the car he hit at the speed limit sign. He was too close and probably would have hit him anyway, although not as hard. So I believe the Cammer is 100% at fault and the video should convict him
5:45 congrats on making the slowest turn in human history
And right into the left lane.
I know what you mean.
Even the Toyota Highlander driver knew there was no way to cross the road safely and remained stopped, while this sloth made the turn not caring, or maybe she is too old to drive.
OMG OMG OMG OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmnnn ... think they were looking for an accident!!!
5:43 It would help if you didnt turn into moving traffic at 6mph
Shes the main character, turning into the outside lane illegally and going slow are just what she wants to do, so deal with it. 🤣
3:00 "There was nothing I could do." Except for stopping like the other two guys...
The cammer only had 1 second of space (3 seconds is needed) and seemed to accelerate just before the collision. They mustn’t have been paying attention
Yup, the one thing he COULD have done would have been to get his head out of his @$$ and pay attention to his driving.
3:02 the white Expedition was the catalyst, but you're responsible to maintain a safe following distance in order avoid a collision. I doubt the video will help the cammer in this instance
"There was nothing I could do." Other than, y'know, looking where you're going and paying attention to what's happening directly in front of you.
@@Footwearquality Indeed. Leaving a bigger gap would also help. The car in front managed it just fine...
The cammer accelerated until impact. The video will only convict him. 😂
7:55 the Accord definitely cut off the cammer, but they didn't "slam of their brakes," they were clearly stopping because of the Camry
When you are a self entitled driver, its all about you 🙂

@@MrPetej00 How does going up hill make 41 in a 35 any slower?
@@bobroberts2371I didnt say it does, it explains his speed, though, 5mph over is barely anything. A cop wouldn't even pull someone over for that. because it is within the accuracy rate of a cars spedometer.
2:43 Cammer is obviously distracted but wants us to believe he did nothing wrong.
but he has a dashcam.... Therefore it's everyone else's fault
03:01 You got cited because you rear ended a stopped vehicle, you weren't paying attention.
2:41 - You should be cited. It is your fault. Traffic stopped in front of you, the cause does not matter. You should maintain a safe following distance and be attentive enough to stop in time to avoid the collision, no matter why the car in front stopped. You took a long time to react to the car in front braking.
It can matter; Just not in this case...
3:00 So, you think you should NOT have gotten cited for absolutely ramming that poor vehicle from behind? Sure, the white SUV was in the wrong, but it looks like you never even looked up from your phone 🤣
привет брат
Yeah he never even hit the brakes lol.
@2:45 the video isn’t going to do you any favors, not maintaining safe distance and not paying attention. You were still accelerating when everyone was braking
5:53 If you tried going more than 1 mph or turned into the closer lane you might’ve saved yourself a headache
5:48 Maybe press the gas pedal when pulling out onto a busy road, genius. 😂
5:51 what are you driving ? A semi ?
0:30 it amazes me how many people drive around with their doors unlocked like it’s GTA 🤦🏻♀️
That’s what I’m saying and I’m confused why she stopped. GO your the driver
The second video is a great example of why one keeps their doors locked and if in a place like that windows rolled up or just enough to leave only a small opening at the top.
#23 8:04 One of the great things about roundabouts is that if you're not sure which way you're supposed to go, you can keep going around in circles while you figure it out. Instead of stopping and blocking traffic behind you.
5:57 got what you deseved lol
6:05 imagine seeing this and thinking "god I need to go home and upload this"
I am shocked he didn’t start clapping and hollering.
I was sitting on the edge of my chair! Biting my nails!
And the one at 3:50. Text can say anything but we ain't seen the proof!
7:36 I hear a blinker. Guessing you had your I'm-a-dummy-light on and tricked that truck into thinking you were turning left.
Yep, came here to say this
3:00 This IS your fault, pay attention next time guy
0:50 “I hope this helps whoever is involved, considering I didn’t stop to provide video and just hope they randomly come across the clip in a random CZcams compilation.” Yeah I’m sure you were a big help
I was thinking the exact same thing
2:53 man. Youll still remain cited after they see the video. Dude is literally speeding up until he crashes. Going from 26-32 never slowing down or even seeing whats happening aka not paying attention at all until he smashes into the car. Dude thinks he wont be cited after the video is seen. Lol what a clown.
I’d love to see the reaction when the insurance company keeps it at 100% fault after viewing the video. The cammer will be dumbfounded.
5:53 Why did you take such a wide right turn? That's what caused you to be rear-ended.
An illegal turn into the outside lane no less, and then completely forgot she had a thing called the gas pedal. What a moron.
That and not accelerating.
maybe that was her intent, turns into the only lane with another car coming in it
Most likely going for the left turn lanes, but at a snail’s pace
Dont you get it? She is the MAIN Character in this entire world! Everybody else just "came out of nowhere". and of course, "what **** are you doing?"
lol
2:41 cammer obviously on their phone not paying attention
9:15 How does he not know how a dual turn lane works?
2:52 - a proper following distance gives you enough time to react to unexpected situations. Driver absolutely deserved the citation.
Glacial reaction time. 😂
#9 Josh 2:50 Cammer claims there was nothing he could do other than rear end that car!? Driving an appropriate speed and correct following distance means you can ALWAYS stop in time. That's like blaming a tree branch that falls in the road.
he was def on his phone
3:00 It doesn't matter if a hundred cars hit each other in the other lane, you are still responsible for not hitting anyone from behind unless they maliciously hit their brakes. ie. Brake check. Man you are really taking it on the chin in the comments.
Last one....
TURN IN TO YOUR OWN DANG LANE!!!!!!
Oh, and by the way, I am a disabled vet too, but I maintain my lane when I make a turn.
Parking in traffic to have a conversation about a horn is one of the worst things people do.
@@CurtinChad I guess we know what his disability is...
He will do that to the wrong person some day and become a hood ornament.
5:57 those people are the most annoying. They pull out, cutting you off, and then proceed to go 5mph, driving down the middle of the lanes. And most of the time, they do this when there isn't a car behind the one they cut off.
2:26 Kudos to that driver for not going hard into the brakes. If you blow a tire, especially a front tire, ease off the gas and gently begin braking. If you hit the brakes too hard you could lose control of the vehicle.
3:00 "There was nothing I could do" - sure buddy. Stop daydreaming and pay attention - then you might actually be able to even attempt to brake in time. As the camera view doesn't even dip a bit before the impact it's safe to assume you didn't brake at all.
7:49 that driver even hopped the curb when pulling out in front of you. The thing that makes this part great is that you had enough space and controlled speed so you didn't hit them.
6:00 cammer was either impaired or having an episode of some sort. I agree with the passenger "what are you doing?"
6:00 - Any reason why you decided to very slowly cross multiple lanes of traffic?
I'm also a disabled vet; the last guy incorrectly turning, then brake-checking, stopping in the middle of the road, and getting out of his truck is a See You In Tee.
I know that if anyone jumping out of their car coming after me runs a high risk of finding out what it's like to have the front bumper of a car impact their body.
7:29 #21 Hh did you have your turn signal on? Sure sounds like it.
I thought the same thing.
Several drivers here who's dash-cams show how poorly they drive. I wouldn't have shared those!
4:40 The other drivers didn't hit you as you slid across all the lanes because ... they are better drivers.
To be fair, 22, the woman did not 'slam on her brakes.' Why does everyone assume that using your brakes is an act of aggression? She slowed to a stop when she realised that the white car in front of her is parked and not moving. What did you expect her to do, drive over it?
5:00 Fight that ticket! Cops pulled over the wrong car.
2:51 tf was you looking at besides road to crash
I like how out of the infinite list of things he could have done he ended up with nothing instead of using the brakes.
def his fault
@@michaeld1770 yeah ik but could have been avoided
7:10 Maybe use your signals mr semi.
and then ppl wont have to read minds
Enough pieces of front bumper missing to know that guy won't be in the career for very long.
3:00 Your video just confirms your assured clear distances citation.
6:47 Trucker didn't bother to even use his signal, only moved his truck over 10 inches over the line and stopped. How was the van suppose to know what his intentions were? Perhaps he didn't see that the lane was ending right away, because an 18 wheeler was blocking his view?
I agree 👍💯
That was my assessment too. I went back to look to see if the trucker had on the indicator and he didn't. So trucker is the AH

#17 Why are you pulling out to the far lane? Pull out to the near one, then change lanes when safe
I grew up in Charlotte County, Florida. I do like the Clearwater clip, it's amazing how much that area has changed. I haven't been through there in over forty years, though, so of course it has.
2:51 You must have forgotten your camera shows your speed. You were still accelerating after everyone on front of you stopped.
3:00 Buddy, it was obvious to everyone else *except* you!? You should be thanking your lucky stars that the guy you hit left the scene because that was 100% your fault.
The one he hit pulled into a parking lot.
9 - I don't think your video is going to prove anything except that you were not paying attention and slammed into the back of the car. It doesn't even look like you hit the brakes. 32 mph while driving in the lane and 32 mph when you slammed the car. The other two vehicles left because there was no contact and they were not involved in a collision.
#3: tie down the damn ladder.
#9 Cammer too busy arsing about on their phone and not paying attention to what is developing in front of them
7:59 You can't be tht stupid; that you didin't see the car stopped in the street?
I was looking for this. Clearly had to stop abruptly because of the car in front of them.
The other car was clearly still driving before the Honda pulled out?
4:09 can’t get these 30 seconds back..😴
But then you wouldn't hear him boasting about what a goody-2-shoes he is! 😂
@1:00 Cammer, if it was a scam attempt how come she did not get out of the car and claim you ran into her. Inquiring minds want to know.
Exactly. Most likely she was told by someone to put the vehicle in neutral while at stop lights in order to help protect the transmission. I've seen people do this. I've read that there is something to it. Especially if you are going to be stopped for a long time. However, from what I've read it's not a huge advantage on average. Personally, I keep my car in gear just for the reason we see in the video. Though, I doubt I would ever do what she did, if the incline is enough I might roll back when I take my foot off the brake and hit the gas... if I forgot to put it back in gear first.
The only possible way is if they noticed the dashcam setup right as they hit and decided not to push it if there was video evidence.
@@101perspectiveThe vehicle could have been a manual transmission. In that case, yes, you do put the transmission in neutral to protect the gears at a stop, as well as saving your clutch, and resting your left foot.
6:03 Nono...what are YOU doing. Pulled out going slow as shit...
Ran off and left that lady to get carjacked.
#9 "There was nothing I could do!" Except maybe look where you're going and create a bigger braking distance.
Don't think he even hit his brakes.
"Roundabouts aren't that hard, buddy? #9 good thing you got cited cause that’s crazy you couldn’t stop in time considering the fact that you were only going 30mph

7:00 another truck driver with o patience that needs to get off the road
3:01 There was enough time to brake, you braked way late on that. Pay attention.
2:50 You didn't follow the 2 second rule that's why you rear ended the car in front of you. If you are a large truck, it's better to make it a 4 second rule as you can't stop as fast as a small car.
3:37 attempted insurance fraud
0:37 - It's SofaKing foolish to leave your ladder unsecured in the bed of your pickup.
2:27 - This is why it's a good idea to periodically inspect your tires for damage - and proper inflation. (Cracks, bubbles, punctures, etc. If you're in a state that allows "recaps," it's good to check for the tread separating from the sidewalls!) It only takes a few minutes to do, and you can do it before/after you get gas once a week if that's a way to help you remember. Most of us have a flashlight built into our cell phones, so no excuses. 😄
2:39 - It's unfortunate that you had to learn how to keep a proper following distance, and to take in the "big picture" around you, the hard way. In most jurisdictions, rear-ending someone is an automatic at-fault ticket for "following too closely." It is one of our duties as drivers to anticipate others' actions and be ready to react to them. You were maintaining an approximate one-second following distance, as determined by your dashcam's wide-angle lens, so in reality the car you were following was a smidgen closer than one second away.
5:43 - Pulling directly into the far-left lane at "paddling a canoe" speed is ill-advised.
7:44 - Yes, she pulled out in front of you, but she "slammed on the brakes" **very gently** due to a disabled/parked, white 4th-Gen Toyota Camry (which is definitely '00 or '01, the only two years for that tail light style) with its hazard flashers on blocking her, and your, lane. If you missed that MAJOR detail, a bright white 4-door sedan the size of a 1980s midsize Buick, you might want to take a driving refresher course. Or, at the very least, take a basic vision test.
For all to know: An attentive driver usually takes an average of 0.75 (three-fourths) of a second to move their foot from the accelerator to the brake pedal. (SOURCE: Google search of "average reaction time of driver" yields many results stating this, from reputable news sources and numerous states' driving instructions.) There is, of course, a tiny bit of time before the physical reaction for your brain to recognize an impending incident and choose how to react, and then there's the time needed to bring your vehicle to a controlled stop. While it's often impossible to keep proper following distances (everyone likes to squeeze into others' safety gaps for some reason) that makes it even more important to scan the roadway far ahead of you.
Great video!
